I say Sweden wins this 3-1

I can't say I care about Switzerland and their quest for the gold. If Sweden wins...awesome. If Switzerland wins then that sucks

Wow, a honest guy. It's not like losing is fun even if someone has something cool going on.

When was the last time a team went 10-0 btw?( or undefeated in a tournament) Swiss have a chance to do so.

Mårts has made some lineup changes.

Sedins/Loui
Hjalmarsson - Persson - Pettersson
Thörnberg - Lundqvist - Axelsson
Landeskog - Lindberg - Danielsson

Tallinder - Kronwall
Fransson - Granberg
Gustafsson - Fälth

I think Sweden in 1998. Post below is correct, though.

Yeah I agree, don't care at all if Switzerland finish 2nd or last, all that matters is that we win.

Have you actually watched both the semi-finals? It clearly wasn't SUI-USA which was boring...

How is the media coverage in Switzerland? I don't really know how big hockey is in Switzerland.

He just hasn't watched your team that much. I like it, they play a full rink aggressive check and backcheck hard. They skate a ton. It's very similar to how Luleå plays in SEL. I think this'll be an entertaining medal game. The Suiss team has to continue with their game plan and pressure the puck holder at all times and it'll be up to the Swedish team to keep puck tempo to be able to be constructive with the puck.

Key will of course be if the Sedin line can be contained, they're very used to playing hockey with little space and time. Switzerland has a better PP statistically, but the attribution of the Sedins make the Swedish PP the most potent in the tournament I think. Neither team want to commit to penalties.

It's all over their news, everywhere. It's not like Switzerland is used to success in many team sports.

Looks good, if he intends to play that 4th line that is. Landeskog have not been good, other than being a physical force.

Further, despite Mårts quirks, I like that he see the game as a duel - that you actually can try to play on the other teams weaknesses and limit their strengths (Hi Alain Vigneault).

Btw, which team is considered the home team? Sweden or Switzerland? Seems like it's Switzerland. Feels so darn weird being the away team in all playoff games for the team hosting the tournament.

Judging by the order in which they're listed on the IIHF website, it looks like Switzerland are the designated home team.

Swiss have won everything (so far) and best performance in the group decides - so they are of course home team.

Sweden was "home" when they played Canada and Switzerland in the preliminary round, I think that might be why.

According to Twitter reports, Sweden has posted a false lineup. Same lines against Finland were used in warmups.

The home team status is decided by the group stage positioning (SWI 1.)
