Nah, we need to keep up that 4 goals or more streak in the playoffs.

I meant 3-0, as in up 3 games to nothing.

This isn't anything more than the coach putting back in a player he perceives as a regular. Heaven only knows why.
MacIntryre is in WB/S, though?

The Sens will feed off the emotion of the home crowd. We have to come out flying to start as well.

Although I don't think Spezza will be at his best, the d-men still have to limit his skating space, step up on him and stand him up if he's carrying the puck into the zone. Bang him around and don't allow him to build up confidence.

Hopefully guys like Malkin and Neal keep their cool when Neil tries to stir the pot. Make them pay on the PP and the scoreboard.

I like your way of thinking though.....if we get 4, I definitely think we win. I think Vokoun will keep it to 3 or under.

I really start to think that's all our goaltender has to do. Don't give up more than 3 goals and we should be fine. That's just awesome.

Wasn't Adams like a faceoff winning machine 3-4 years ago? Saw that he's only 42% now... Am I misremembering the past?

I thought. And said. Just that thing before game two. But the senators came our flat. They SHOULD have come out desperate. They didn't though.

The Pens on the other hand were set for a let down game two but Crosby grabbed the Senators by the nuts and squeezed. The entire team followed his example.

After game 2 I have no clue what to expect. The Senators should come out flying. The Penguins could understandably come out flat. But would you be surprised if the opposite happened?

Well, we pretty much have it in our game plan to start out quickly, score first and set the tone. I think it's a huge part of "getting to our game". So the key against Ottawa is to finish strong because they've been good in third periods.

Hard to know what teams will show up. I feel the Sens will play their best game against us tonight...they have no choice really.

I also feel Vokoun may crack a bit and let in more than 3 goals...I hope I'm wrong on this but if that happens I'm sure the coaching staff will jump to give Fleury another shot in game 4.

I do remember Joey V was having a rough game last game, as in was taking some bigger hits and falls. Doesn't surprise me that he might be a bit banged up.

One thing I've noticed the last two games though is that we've come out flying early on and we've managed to capitalise on that decent enough. Early goal tonight could deflate the crowd early on. 3-0 would be delightful going into Game 4. Sweep would be wonderful.

On their home ice, Turris returning and Karlsson knowing it's time to play up to his abilities...

2-1 and it's not even arguable. I just hope they can get back to Pittsburgh 2-2, but I'm afraid the next two games might be so lopsided that they'll reconsider the previous-two wins.

So, speculation is Juice is injured since he was wearing a non-contact jersey the other day at practice?

Not being negative, but the Penguins have been unable to deflate an opponent yet these playoffs. The Islanders never hung their heads. The Sens kept clawing back last game.

I don't know if the opponents are extra crispy or if the Pens are extra soggy, but I don't think we'll be seeing any 'demoralizing' from the Pens this year.

Except for their own fans.

Sens will likely outplay us tonight. If we capitalize on our chances and come out with a win, this series ends in 4.

This certainly seems like a game they'll lose. Might be a tough one for Vokoun. I look forward to being proven wrong.

The first 10 minutes will be crucial. If we can weather that storm, I think we'll be okay.

Sitting our best faceoff guy for Glass? Victory and JJ had better be injured.

No. Him and Jokinen have food poisoning . Shero won't allow glass in the lineup so danny took it in his own hands...... Half Gatorade/ half raw chicken juice.

Turris has gotten a lot of **** from Sens fans but he's winning a boat load of faceoffs. I know he's not a top scorer, but he's playing his role well, IMO.
