Beauchemin's fantasy value

Paired with Neidermeyer, he should chip in on most of his even strength points. That said, will he get PP time? Or will the Ducks go old-school Blues and pair up two giants at the point ala Macinnis and Pronger?

He'll have some time on the power play, he's got a good point shot. Nieds, Pronger, Beau and Getzlaf will be on the points. Not sure on how much the last two will get out there though.

Agree. Niedermayer and Beauchemin together on 5 on 5.

On PP it should look something like this:

#1 PP-unit:
Chistov/Kunitz/Penner - McDonald - Selanne
Pronger - S. Niedermayer

#2 PP-unit:
Chistov/Kunitz/Penner - R. Niedermayer/Marchant - Perry
Getzlaf - Beauchemin

His fantasy value is decent, but not nearly as good as that of Rebecca Romijn Stamos.

To each his own I guess.

I think Francois is a good sleeper pick for any fantasy team. Could potentially get quite a few points.

He is a good fighter when he decides to fight, ask Iginla.

but he is not a regular fighter. He may be in 3-4 fights this season.

another fantasy thread!!!! From my estimates, Beauchemin will get 40 goals and 6000 assists for a nice 6040 points. He will aslo be getting 3.46x10(to the 5th power) pims. Seriously, this is the new NHL and it's just made for Francy. If he is lucky he might top out at 7000 points.

Does that mean we should actually be disappointed unless Bobby Ryan scores 600 ppg?
