Feels Bad Man.
Last time i checked, neither Skjei or Thomas has played much if any at the NHL level. Maybe let them develop before calling them bad draft picks. Some guys don't just hop into the NHL and produce. We've been spoiled because guys like Stepan, McD, MDZ, etc have all just hopped right in and been productive. Most players take a couple years of seasoning to play themselves onto the NHL level, ESPECIALLY later round draft picks.

Get a grip man and get off the ledge. There are a LOT of things to complain about with this team. Since the lockout, draft picks are not one of them.

I'm not saying that it was better picking Thomas over Toffoli, but playing on a stronger team hardly works in Toffoli's favour.

Thomas scoring 40 on an abysmal team was basically why he was picked high in the first place, a much more impressive feat in many eyes.

I haven't watched Thomas a lot, but reports indicate that he could become a goal scoring version of Zuccarello. Small, skilled, and plays like he is 6'2 220+. If he could become a 30-20 sparkplug with a heavy RH shot on the PP (just what we need IMO), that would be fantastic. All 2nd rounders can't be Derek Stepan, and all 7th rounders can't be Lundqvist.

People tend to forget that getting productive NHL'rs in the second round and on are great. The majority of 2nd rounders don't become good, let alone, top 6 players.

Again, we've been spoiled by our fantastic drafting since the lockout.

I never really thought Spezza should be counted on for too much, if anything.
Hopefully, Senators fans do not expect too much. He is healthy enough to play, but how could he possibly be at his peak performance level? The answer obviously is that he cannot. Plus, no real clicking with linemates yet either.

I think the Senators are cooked. Maybe they will one game, that will be all, if even that.

Maybe not this round, but hopefully some player will level Kunitzt, but good.

If Pitt wins the cup this year, you can say goodbye to MAF in that city. They'll lock up Vokoun, ship MAF to Toronto, and grab a youngster to be groomed.

Lock up Vokoun? He's 36. How much more could he possibly have left in the tank, or want to play?

He hasn't declined, much if at all. He was underrated in florida and is finally on a good team. We had goaltenders winning cups into their 40's regularly. Pitt could give him a 2-3 year deal easily.

If it was you, and you had a shot at an extra 10 million and building a legacy of cups with a team, would you play?

I would. But I'm not him. Pittsburgh needs to evaluate the situation and have a sit down with both of them.

Now THAT'S the Anderson I was expecting from the Sens all series. Dude is doing an amazing Lundqvist impression right now. Hope the end of the game goes in his favor though
