The Sens looked HORRIBLE in OT. Methot, Alfie, and Anderson were the only ones playing to win it seemed at times. Their defense was lethargic and seemingly uninterested. It looked like they were pacing themselves for a long night while the Pens were trying to win it ASAP. Timely, important goal for the Sens, but they need to come out stronger.

Eaton was covering Greening on the GWG but was stickless. He left Greening to skate free in front of the net while he decided it was more important to have his stick. Really dumb play.

Ottawa had to many cases where they were 1 and done in the offensive zone. I thought their decision making with the puck was below average as well.. Anderson was awesome tho.

The Sens were frustrating to watch. In most situations where they had two clear choices for puck movement, where one choice was definitely better than the other, it seemed they always made the wrong choice.

Methot was a beast defensively in that game.

I lost count how many times they coughed up the puck in their own zone with little to no pressure. Ottawa definitely stole this game.

CBC disagrees with me, but that was a brutal disallowed goal call by the ref. Shaw wasn't impeding Howard at all; Howard was just camped inside his net to cut down Stalberg's angle.

Agreed. Reminded me of an OT goal that was disallowed when the Flyers were playing the Flames a few years back. Pronger was camped out in front and the goal didn't count because he was facing Kipper. The Flyers lost in a shootout. I was furious.

that Shaw call was a clear makeup for when Franzen got hit and there was no whistle when he was down. seen that blown dead before.
that goal by Datsyuk was just freakin ridiculous.
