That is so cute.

I hope you get great seats and the B's win.

75 a piece for a Saturday night possible clincher with fans from NY traveling as well may be a bit of a stretch. Definitely wish you luck though and if you can pull that off it would be awesome! I honestly doubt we see anything under $150ish even last minute but maybe (hopefully) i'm wrong! And hopefully there won't even be a game 5

Unless we lose both games in ny, there's no way you're getting in the door for less than 75...even then.

Not trying to be a tool. It literally took me 7 key strokes and 2 mouse clicks to confirm to start time. 10 seconds.

Or it could go the way of "if necessary" and not be necessary....wouldn't that be nice, too.

FWIW I grabbed a pair of game one tickets 10 minutes before puck drop off StubHub for $52 a piece. As of 2 PM that same day the cheapest single was $140. Tickets drop pretty drastically as the game approaches.

In my experience it either falls off a ledge or spikes.

Anyone take SH screen shots on sunday?

The day of week doesn't make so much of a difference as does the way the market trends in the days leading up to the game. And most importantly, the way the market trends day of game hour to hour.

There are 2800+ tickets in the system for Saturday right now. If Saturday gets here and there are still 1500+ tickets in the system and tickets are not selling at a clip of 100+ per hour by noon time, it's just a matter of time before sellers start getting sweaty palms...undercutting starts and they start dropping drastically.

There are also times like game 7 against Toronto. The market bottomed out mid day when you could buy cheap pairs at $79/per and loges at $120. Two or three hours later the cheapest pairs were up to $150/ticket. No one knew there was going to be a flurry of buying when stuff got down to $79. I believe there were posters here saying they were going to wait and get in for $20 right before the puck dropped. It doesn't always work that way...

Edit- Screen shots of posts from game 7 day of game around noon time...

Indeed Looch. I feel better about my chances.

On that note, if anyone has an extra pair up top on the cheap and dirty...

I saw one pair go for $95/ea for game 2, next cheapest I saw was over $100. I was hitting refresh in the last 5 minutes of sales. Like looch mentioned, the last minute tickets seem very unpredictable.

Do I buy Game 4 now or wait for prices to possible come down? Sitting at about $220 with fees included.

And I'm glad I waited even 20 minutes...

Just bought a pair of Sec 227 Row 3 seats (end where the B's shoot twice) for $160 each including fees. I'm more than okay with paying that.

Nothing is for certain. But at this point I would roll the dice if I were you. More than likely the longer you can wait the better.

I think there is a SH p/u office a half mile from MSG....2 minutes before the game tonight there were pairs going in the low $100's/ea before fees. I would think the tickets for thursdays game will be even cheaper no that the B's can possibly take the series at msg.

I am contemplating taking a train up and seeing just how good of a bargain I can get if I am willing to miss a few minutes of the start of the game.

When the C's were down 3-0 against the knicks last month I was selling game 4 tickets in Boston for well under face. I'd expect the the best deals for Thursday are yet to come.

Probably...but since I have to FLY to NY from Minneapolis to attend, it wasn't worth the risk to me.

$160 per for the seats I have feels like a steal to me, and I won't look back.

I understand. You're not in the minority. Most will not buy airfare without having their tickets in hand...even if it is 90% certain they will save a significant amount if they wait till day of game. It's human nature.

When the B's lost game 5 to the Canucks in 2011 I couldn't drop the prices for my game 6 tickets fast enough. Price were insane for a while whne game 6 had the possibility of being the clincher at home. I was lucky enough to drop one of my pairs of loges to $1300/per and make it the cheapest pair at the end the Canucks shot twice. They sold within a couple minutes of the Canucks winning game 5. I knew it had to be a Canuck fan that bought em. The next day seats next to them were available for $750. I wasn't surprised to see Canuck fans in the seats at the gam. I gave them my business card...they weren't gonna buy their airfare without their tickets in hand!
