2-1 Bruins, and deserved. Henrik has kept the Rangers in it in the third. 3:20 or so left.

Rangers aren't winning this one. Bruins are much better at shutting the door once they're in the lead with little time remaining.

Not only is their center depth awesome but it's also very young.

Plus Seth Jones is tailor made for that team. He pretty much grew up in their arena, they absolutely need some blueline help and Seth is an outstanding player in his own right.

Yeah Jones is a slam dunk for them no doubt.

Defense always scares me for some reason when they're taken too high. Like a schenn or whoever.

Good-Bye Torts. He has some high end talent, best goalie in the league, and won't be aggressive with the team. Deserves the sweep, that team has more potential.

WTF happened to the Rangers?!?

This team should be a perennial threat. Tortorella is the new Keenan.

Bruins:

- forced to play rookies in key spots ahead of plan
- epic third period troll win
- no ref love. Zero PPs tonight and a brutal high stick non-call
- knocked off the Sens nemisis team
- Big Sens connections - players and management.

Sens-Bruins Conference file just feels like Destiny.

The (Claude Julien Boston historical) odds say the Rangers find a way to get this to Game 7 but ultimately lose

They also came close to a major choke against the Leafs

The Rangers can still do some damage

I love that the team with the big name acquisitions fails. Nash can suck it. Bruins beat the Rags and the refs today.

Honestly Hank should leave that team and join the penguins if he wants a chance to win a cup. The rangers are such a joke of a team and it's a damn shame we didn't get to face them in round 2. It would have been an easy bye into the conference finals for us. The leafs must be kicking themselves because they would have had a bye into round 3 as well. We would have rolled the rangers with more depth on offense this time and more experience.

Wow. Mega blitz from the Sharks to start the game, and they are up 1-0. The Kings are moving at half speed and look like they are still in the warm-up. Saved for now by a commercial break.

I don't think joining a all-star team is really a respectable way to win a cup. Lundqvist seems to love New York and probably wants the win the cup their.

TML farm team mirrors the big league squad. Marlies were up 3-1 with 10 min to go in a must-win game 6 only to lose 4-3 in regulation and be eliminated. I love the system-wide identity that they are grooming.

No way...

Imagine being a Leafs fan.

"Wow, the Leafs really blew that one. At least we got the Marlies."

Here's an interesting stat:

The Rangers have not taken a penalty on home ice for 160+ minutes.

Damn, that's a good combination of discipline and luck with referees.

EDIT: All that while being dominated by the opponent.
