I thought it would be interesting to get some predictions in writing before the season starts. Here's mine:
Radulov goes to Milwaukee to start season. Preds start out first 10 games at 4-6 or 5-5 as team has some difficulty. We get surprised by Chicago at least once. Everyone calls for complete overhaul of team.
After the 10 games, the Preds become the team we think they are and go on several excellent runs. We finish the season first in the division (6-2 versus Detroit though only 4-4 versus Columbus; Chicago we win season 7-1) but finish second in the conference.
We'll go far in the playoffs but I just don't have a feel for how far.
Oh, and Radulov doesn't come up until at least December when one of our forwards is injured for 4-5 weeks. He gets 15 goals and 20 assists but it's not enough to win the Calder.
Hey Preds Fans. I'm am not a big fan of your Predators but I would just like to mention that your team will win your division and finish 1st overall in the West. If that does happen I'll be very happy because I chose Nashville Predators to finish at the top of the West.
