I used a Diablo, which is the fused version of the Widow. It's lower kick than the SE16 so might feel a hair stiffer, but it will be lighter weight with better balance and at least as good puck feel. The Lidstrom pattern should be the same as the Easton Getzlaf.
FYI, what you see guys using in the NHL isn't necessarily what they actually use. A lot of times they have custom sticks that are painted to look like retail sticks, or options not available to the public. But the Widow was still a very good stick.
I have both a Widow and an SE16. Cut down for size, I find the Widow to feel a bit whippier due to the kickpoint. They are hard to compare since they release the puck differently. Puck feel on the Widow is also crisp, but a touch softer in sensation compared to the SE16. The problem some people have had is blade durability on the Widow however, though again, if you don't normally pound on your blades, you shouldn't have any problems.
