As for Hank its been the story of his career carrying them in the playoffs when the rest of the team doesn't show up.
I hope he's getting sick and tired of playing behind a team that can't score in the playoffs.

New York Rangers, where offense has gone to die for the past 15 years.

Torts and Lavi are kindred spirits..both have tunnel vision and are thick. They are good coaches but not very flexible. They are taskmasters and they are good for setting teams straight for a few years. In Lavis case he was needed after the free for all of Stevens. Both of them always cite their cup win as the reason why they don't want to deviate. They say their system works when the players execute it ...no excuses essentially.

Is anyone just ready for the playoffs to end.....

.....so that draft time and free agency can begin.
I just don't want Pittsburgh or Boston to win the Cup either!

And free agents with sexy names.

At this point, it's comic. Ranger's are the argument for needing chemistry. They had it, were very strong-- blew it up-- and then made a trade to get some depth again and hopefully restore some chemistry.

Not working as intended.

The Canucks fired their coaching staff.

No replacement head coach named and it sounds like they'll take their time, though the timing is interesting after the Marlies were eliminated from the AHL playoffs last night (which freed up Dallas Eakins).

Now's the time for Homer to fire Lavi, replace him with Eakins, and then Lavi can go to Vancouver.

What a goal by Michalek. Outskated Letang and Malkin.

All thanks to Letang's crying.

If only Ottawa could hit the net more. Vokoun's struggling to hold a rebound right now.

Two weak calls for Pens. Zero for Sens. Not that the scored on the PP but still.

The Sens channeled their inner Flyers defense and goaltending for about a min.

Doesn't help that the Pens cherry pick like no other team. I feel they score most of their game breaking goals solely on this strategy.
