I really don't care where you live on the island, I wouldn't drink the water. It'd be foolish to think your in the clear. The affected zone keeps getting bigger every hour.

If I were in Montreal, I'd drink the water from the river straight up.

I bet the water is just as deadly as any water around here. Level 1 filtration system and everything goes into the water. Dump costs money. The water is free.

Living in Laval doesn't look so bad anymore.

To be fair, it's no where near as bad as people say. And Montreal is no where as good as people say.

Yay! Living in cartierville too Won't have to boil my water for 1 minute.

Even if I had to, I'd rather just buy water bottles than do that.

Since over 1 million people are affected, you can expect this to be fixed ASAP.

Love how they don't tell us what happened?
(they should at least tell us what is in the water now? what the ****!!).

Don't drink the water...boil for 1 minute (I'd go further and boil for 5 minutes!!!lol! or buy bottled water).

I wonder about showering in this water?
(we're showering in crap/poo?).

Will this be over by Thurs night or Fri?
(Montreal... no more Habs, and now no clean water to drink).

CTV wasn't specific but they said something about a "non-toxic sediment due to recent renovations" or something of the sort.

They also mentioned that it's supposed to be fixed by Thursday afternoon.

Thanks for important info .
(I didn't catch the CTV news yesterday).

Thursday afternoon

(I boil my water everytime before drinking or use bottled water...but good to know we will probably be showering in clean water by tomorrow night).

I did. I washed my face with tap water and it soaked in through my pores.

CTV Montreal has tweeted 1 hour ago" "Montreal says water results arriver at 9pm but will take hours of analysis to determine if water is safe. In other words- boil water until Friday".
