I think that Sheldrake is starting with the Petes this year, since they lost a great defenceman in Lubomir Stach who will be going back to the Czech Republic. However, your damned Oilers took Liam Reddox away (and Bryan Young, but what he did to Pouliot was mean), so

He was cut a week ago.

If you are talking about Liam Reddox, I want to see him back in a Peterborough Petes uniform with the captain's C on it. He deserves it and he is possibly the best player to wear it. All of the other assistant captains -- Bryan Young, Greg Stewart, Trevor Hendrikx and Aaron Dawson are all gone.

This is who should have which leadership position:
Captain -- Liam Reddox
Assistant Captains -- Craig Cescon, Jordan Staal, Justin Caruana, Steve Downie

It's too bad that Fredrik Naslund and Lubomir Stach are both gone. I would have had them as assistant captains, too.

You're gonna see Raftis with a letter, whether it's the C or the A. He's been acting as captain while everyones gone.

But do you expect Liam Reddox back with the Petes any day soon?

I have no idea what his intentions are if he doesn't make WB. He may even try his hand in the ECHL, very little has been said about Reddox around here, and what he'd like to do.

What a shock!

I thought that Liam Reddox would get a little bit more attention than that. He has been such a well-known player on the Peterborough Petes for so long... I loved him a lot. I hope that if he has the opportunity to come back that he will. Remember that the departures of Fredrik Naslund, Greg Stewart, Bryan Young and Lubomir Stach allows for several overage positions to be filled....

If you're still looking for Sheldrake, he's back with Thorold.

Without Daniel Ryder he would never have been noticed. I have my doubts if he'll even make the AHL.

Are you talking about Reddox? Reddox has been assigned to the ECHL; he's in Stockton, wherever the hell that is. I miss Liam!

Stockton is in California (central California I believe.)

Stockton is one hour east of San Francisco and 45 minutes south of Sacremento. There is an ECHL league out there that includes Long Beach Ice Dogs I believe.

The Stockton team is called the Thunder and it is in the Pacific division of the ECHL. They are an Oilers affiliate.
