What took them so long? The first half of the game was dreadful.
And Hank kept them in the game long enough to fight another day.

I can't get thrilled about this win, it's just one of those things were you have to take it for what its worth; one step closer and a valuable experience for the young guys on the team to never give up.

If we manage to win on Saturday, then i'll start getting excited. Until then I'll temper my own expectations.

I just think Brassard has benefited from coming to a different atmosphere, as well as his place in that new location. For as bad as Ranger fans want to complain about this team, it is a franchise that expects to make the playoffs every year.

Kreider played well. Wish I had seen more of him over the last bunch of games.

I think the winger that would have clicked best with Brassard was the guy we happened to trade for him. Oh well.

Still would like to get a scoring winger in the top 6 for next season. Nash, sniper, Callahan, Zuccarello as the top 6 wingers.

For him that's a step in the right direction. That line was good overall. Kinda surprised that he scored, being put on line with...talent, and whatnot.

Lundqvist played brilliantly and yet allowed 3 goals because the defense was clueless.

Nice goal by Kreider. I'm happy for him, but I originally picked Bruins in 5, so I'm sticking with that.

Agreed. Brassard said he was happy when he heard the trade had happened. Classic change of scenery.

pre lockout bad at times...

we literally just screen him or deflect pucks past him. we are letting too many cross ice passes through and not clearing rebounds

Something was poisonous in the CBJ culture before. JD is the perfect man to fix it, but some guys definitely needed out.

Glad to finally get a nice highlight from this postseason. When did our PK get so bad though? The Bruins are supposed to have a terrible power play...

I'm deathly horrified of him regressing because then we have Stepan and a bunch of third liners.

Solid game. Wouldn't have been fair for the Rangers to be eliminated in 4 because these games have been closer then the Bruins series lead indicates.

Wrong. He had a quiet, but very very good game. I was saying in my head in the 3rd and before OT that Kreider would get it.

We're still using the diamond formation that was great against Washington. Need to go back to the box and pressure both Dmen up high against the Bruins, but it hasn't happened.

TSN rarely keys in on a good Rangers play, such as the one that Stepan made. I find that weird. They get so overly interested in statisics and their 'analysis' that they don't even seem to get excited by something cool.
