Moutrey was also invited. He has also been invited to Montreal and Toronto's personal combine right after the NHL one.

Thanks for catching that clearwater. Don't know how I missed that. 4am shifts starting to get to me I guess.

You know if Lodge got invited to any team's personal combine?

Whoa... is this the same KP that wanted to run Subban out of town during the season? Why all of a sudden the change of heart?

I don't see any of the two 96's making the team for obvious reasons. Is it me or does it seem that when it comes to the D on this team no one knows what the hell is going on? Who is in charge here? Is the GM another Jerry Jones, he runs the team and coaches too?

Congrats to Moutrey, he's a damn good player and very under rated. I don't see Lodge doing well at the NHL Combine, he's over rated. I see Moutrey being drafted before Lodge if Lodge even gets drafted at all.

-I'll agree with you that Mourtey is under rated. He does alot of the little things so well. His offensive game needs to be more consistent but I think that will come along in the next two years. Altough I don't think he projects as a scorer at the next level anyways. What's more important is that his consistency when it comes to physical play needs to get better because when he does play physically, those are his best games.

-"...if Lodge gets drafted at all." Not going to even touch that one. Someone's reaching for an argument with that.

No change of heart really. I said IF Subban isn't kept. There is always the possiblity that Saginaw chooses to keep him. Although I Still don't like his chances of being a big part of this team next year.

Quite a short list for next year's WJC.

Moutrey did well at the NHL combine, rated in the top 10 in 3-4 test and finished first in Upper Body Power. I think he is going to have a dominating and explosive year with the Spirit in the 2013/2014 season

I agree with you Moutrey will have a very big year and play a key role in next season. I wish both Moutrey and Lodge all the best in the up coming draft.

Glad to see that Lodge didn't disappoint. He should be replaced on the first line with Moutrey!

Just what Saginaw needs, another defenseman.

Ottawa defenseman Sean Callaghan for the rights to Connor Graham and a 3rd round pick in 2014. Callaghan is a 94 born defenseman.

Jimmy Lodge has been invited to team USA's evaluation camp in August.

Here's the full list of players, minus goalies.

You really can't deny the kid an invite. Unfortunately when he's invited to any USA Camp he usually does a disappearing act. Hopefully he can turn it around this time.

Love the Trade for Payne. Adds depth and toughness. Two things teams that make deep runs always seem to have. Trading of the extra d-men will help recover some of the picks.

He won't be on the team this year. He was picked up as an emergency back up while Paterson was at the WJC. Although he did do good in the one game he played.

Saginaw trades for OA center Kristoff Kontos.

Interesting to see what this leads too.

Don't think they'll be doing anything there. Both spots are taken by goalie Nikita Serebryakov and winger Andrey Alexeev. Also Saginaw has no first round import pick this year.
