This. No Havlat and Torres hurts us. Are special teams have been crap and we played our worst game of the playoffs tonight while the Kings played their best hockey in this series today. Galiardi took a stupid penalty that led to a goal and Irwin made a really bad turnover that led to a goal. End rant.

I fully expect us to win Game 6 and anything can happen in a Game 7. The effort wasn't there for the 1st 40. The two days rest should help.

Bingo. They created no transition opportunities and when they had a slight break of that nature, they slowed it down too much and waited too long to make the play.

Their ability to win on the road for game 7 is seriously in doubt. They will be a lot better in game six at home with everything on the line but they have to get past the pinching garbage. One, they're going down the wrong side by going up the left wing side. Second, they're not winning draws enough. Third, Irwin-Boyle is killing them. It's time to play five D and there's no reason to have Marleau-Couture-Pavelski out there without Vlasic-Braun...that's why they got scored on in the first place.

Couture and Pavelski didn't play well enough tonight. Home teams have held serve, nothing more.

LA plays exactly like Calgary of 2004. Daryl Sutter team. They gotta pull out the Tampa Bay tape and watch how they beat the constant pinching and relentless forecheck. Come on Boyle! Get it together!

51-24 for hits?

This is a poorly kept stat and almost always favors the home team. I'm sure the kings out hit them but it likely wasn't as bad in reality. Still the Sharks need to come out and out hit the kings so there is no question who out hit who.

It takes a full arsenal to beat Quick in a 7 game series.

Rusanowski on radio is losing his voice. Been going downhill since middle of 3rd period.

Might Randy step in for Game 6 in SJ?

Stay tuned...

This has constantly been a problem with this team.

Easy, get a time machine and bring back Boyle from 9 years ago.

It's a Homestand series, win Sunday; gear up for game 7 and take risks.

i think we'll bounce back pretty strongly. We've beaten them twice in a row already we can do it again. And if niemi kept them down to only 2 goals playing their best hockey of the post season and us our worst than i think our chances are pretty good in game 6.

You beat it with stretch passes and board passes that stretch the zones. They were trying the passes as evidenced by all the icings called against them but they had nobody up the ice.

They beat it before when they beat Calgary in 2008. But for this team, it all starts in the faceoff circle and everyone but Thornton got schooled tonight.

Why are people still bringing up Torres? Torres took out Stoll who is probably more important to the Kings than Torres is to the Sharks.

Havlat has me beyond frustrated at this point, and Torres is and always will be a liability. Im groaning over this as well.

*sighs* If only. Things just can't align for this team. I'd be very confident we could beat LA if we can roll that for a series.

Which is a head-scratcher considering how badly they've been outplayed.

Dude that was a deflected shot from the point on the PP. Literally the easiest possible way for him to get on the scoresheet, especially since he hogs practically the whole PP.
