If you follow Zemgus on twitter, you'd change your pick. If you already do, we aren't friends anymore ^_^

All this trade talk made me realize that its Grigs. Every time he is suggested as part of the MacKinnon trade speculations, my heart just says "nooooooo. Don't do it"

Girgs & Grigs. Mainly because I got to meet them in person at the draft last year. Girgs and his family asked me where to go for lunch. Wish I got a picture with them if I knew the Sabres were going to draft them!

I feel mine might be Jake McCabe, the dude just oozes leadership to me and is probably the most underrated prospect, and in the world Juniors (which he was captain) he looked more impressive to me than Seth Jones

but if we are going to entertainment purposes that its definitely Girgs

My favourite players are guys like Toews, Zetterberg, Bergeron, O'Reilly, Sutter who are responsible defensive players that also have a good offensive game. From the Amerks games I've seen and from what I've read, Johan Larsson has the potential to be a lite version of one of those guys, and Zemgus Girgensons has the potential (Key word potential. Absolute best-case scenario, likely unattainable) to be mentioned amongst them, so I think one of those two guys could end up being my favourite Sabre down the road.

That being said, there's a lot of players I could go with... Armia's skill level at the development camp was insane and I think he could be a special player. Love everything I've seen from McCabe. But I've never really been more excited for a Sabres prospect than Grigorenko, and even though it's an obvious pick, I'd say he's my favourite.

I think he can be a gritty version of a guy like Cammalleri.

50/50 girgs and larsson. Forwards who play to their size, compete hard on a regular basis, can do some good things on offense, and aren't black holes defensively? Me gusta

Grigorenko and Sundher .... I like that Sundher can fly and chip in offensively in a pinch but he needs to work on his iq and defense in order to be effective, hope he puts it together.

Hard to pick. Armia oozes talent, and I love high end skill. Grigorenko too. What's not to love about Girgensons? Love Pysyk too, and think he has a higher ceiling than people give him credit for, and actually has a pretty good sense of humor in some of his interviews, which is rare for someone so young. Says a lot about his poise.

I'm going with Pysyk.

I'd have to go with Armia, with McCabe a close second.

I really can't pick one favorite guy.

Grigorenko, Girgensons and Armia are all equal to me at the moment.

If you and I built a team from scraps to watch during the rebuild... we'd build the same team... it would be full of Kea's and Kaleta's and Ott's and Foligno's.

Losing seasons during a rebuild can at least be fun
