The question now becomes does Florida want to pass on him.

Honestly, based on organizational depth, I think it would be more likely that Colorado would take Drouin than Florida. Florida has Huberdeau on the wing (probably not going to be C in the NHL) and while Bjustad is a good prospect, I wouldn't bet on him being a #1C, which Mac definitely will be. Mac is just a too perfect fit.

Jones would be a perfect fit for Colorado, as well, but they are rather short on skilled wingers, and Roy is familiar with both Mac and Drouin, so I think if anyone is going to **** up the order, it's them. Still, we're left with whatever the scraps of the top 3 are, and that ain't a bad situation to be in.

Yes either of the three! Either one. Any. Whoever falls to us. So simple!

We can't screw that up can we?

Per Tampa Bay Times Sunday....Russian right wing Valeri Nichushkin, the second best player available in the draft, according to the International Scouting Services, said he has talked to the team. "I know that Tampa Bay and Nashville want to choose me," he said. "I hope that one of the first five teams will pick me."

Hmmm...not sure I like the idea without a confirmation he'll be here next year but I guess all those top draft picks hear the same thing.

This is old news. Also, he's now ranked 4th by International Scouting Services.

Old news...typical Tampa Bay Times reporting then....I prefer Erlendsson over Cristodero anyway.

Three assists for Drouin in the Memorial Cup Final before the first period is even over. This guy is good at the hockeys.

Drouin just made a bad extra pass from right in the slot when he should've shot. He really is the perfect replacement for Marty.

Interesting article: http://ca.sports.yahoo.com/blogs/jrh...191115890.html

Y'know, with all these Florida and Colorado fans fawning over Mackinnon, I wouldn't be that surprised if Jones does fall to us. The top 3 can really go any way right now (assuming we don't **** up and go with Nichushkin).

Drouin's silky hands are on par with Datsyuk and P.Kane. Yeah, I said it.

Another amazing assist by Drouin! That's 5! Wow, he's so amazing! Beautiful high chip to Mackinnon!

(I'm really hoping Yzerman lurks on here)

Drouin also creates a ton of turnovers and frequently strips the puck off of defenders. His intelligence and ability to read the game are matched by none in this draft imho.

Tampa would be stupid to pass on Drouin. Drouin much like St Louis will make Stamkos that much better
