Cannot wait

GTA IV was boring compared to the other games in terms of gameplay, but it had a better atmosphere and all that. Atleast we still have JC2 for GTA SA and VC kind of gameplay if GTA V follows the same path

It's not coming to next gen...PC eventually but it won't be on the PS4 or the One.

Wonder what they're doing for radio stations this time around. Surprised that little has been leaked in that regard, usually the musician who plays the DJ leeks his role. That being said, they didn't have many big name DJs last time. Iggy Pop is the only one I can think of.

Lazlow!

GTA4 was the first GTA I played but I thought the radio was a bit underwhelming.

I only listened to Liberty Rock Radio and it was a great station so I can't comment.

It was a great radio station after the DLC. Hardly any good songs, at least any good rock songs. I mean Genesis "Mama"??? TLATD, gave us Motley Crüe and that awesome moment when you first got on your bike and heard Bon Jovi's "Wanted dead or alive".

Yeah GTA IV was a bit lacking in music but after TLAD Liberty Rock was awesome.

Always been my go to station.

LRR and the talk radio was what I normally had on. Had Electro Choc at night and Radio Broker if I was bored with LRR

Some songs sucked, but pre-DLC still had a lot of great songs. With the DLC it made it far and away the best station, because almost every song it added was great.

Yes, it is.

They're not making it official yet because they don't want to kill sales to current gen.

I don't think it will be. Doesn't sound like something Rockstar would do.

Five years between IV and V, four years between SAF and IV. No way they go a complete dev cycle before releasing for next-gen.

Figure 6 months +/- after current-gen release before they launch on next-gen.

I'm with Dado here. I can see them releasing it on Next-Gen at the same time they release it on PC (which they will do, just not at launch due to the huge amount of piracy on PC).

Chances are the next-gen version will be same as PC version graphics-wise and such. Can't see it being much better then the 360/PS3 version anyways, aside from slight graphics tweaks and performance. Probably gonna be worth buying the next-gen version if it comes out anyways though, just so you don't have to have your old-gen console lying around for the (extremely) long amount of time you will be playing GTA 5. (Hell, I still play GTA 4 frequently) For this reason alone, it would be a great business decision if they even just release the exact same game on next-gen consoles like a year after, people will buy both versions guaranteed.

IIRC, there was something about how PS4's coding for devs was pretty much like a PC, so that made PC-PS4 game ports much easier, and I assume Xbox One is like that too, with running windows 8 and all.

Well thats a waste. I'm not getting the game 2x just for upgraded graphics.

Well GTA isn't the only game that Rockstar makes. Since it's likely that Rockstar is going to do the same thing they did with GTA IV, make two episodic games that are about half as long as the original, I could see them releasing that next gen but Rockstar doesn't handle ports themselves, they hand it off to one of their other devs. And we've seen how big a failure that has been. I can't imagine it would be easy to convert the game over to next gen either.

They may put it off to another developer, but I can't see any situation where Rockstar North does it. Their team is completely focused on GTA V and will be focused on making the DLCs after. No chance they split even 10 people off to go port the game over. If it's done, it'll be given to Rockstar Canada or Rockstar San Diego.

I'll probably buy the next gen version too but I would not put money on it happening because the only way it happens is if Rockstar North gives it over to another studio and last time they did that it was a failure.

My friends all listened to Jazz Nation, I wasn't sure if they were doing it ironically or not.
