At any rate, Mystery definitely ended up in 2nd place. It was pretty close, but they won. Technically, there were only 29 votes in your division because of the double voting of co-GMs there, but I just counted their votes as whole votes for the purpose of publishing the results.
It doesnt matter Im only messing around, losing to mystery is definitly nothing Im sad about

Indeed, a very close race! We should perhaps decide a tie-breaker in case of a regular season tie too!

I actually had one of the regular season divisions go to a second tiebreaker. Halifax and Edmonton were tied in number of points and tied in first place votes. But Halifax had more second place votes, so after briefly consulting with Sturminator, Halifax got the second seed in that division and Edmonton got the third seed.

I don't think we talked about releasing full results before the playoffs, so I didn't save the regular season results in the same document I saved everything else, and it looks like they may have been lost in my inbox, but that one stands out to me.

Nor should you be. I thought Mystery was one of the four best teams at the end of the draft, with New Jersey, Pittsburgh and Montreal. There's always one team that goes out much too early, and while there were a few others (Chicago in the 1st round), I thought Mystery was the team who drew the worst cards in terms of how far they advanced relative to their talent.

Why does the VAN-PIT series in 2nd round have 1 more voter than the other series of that round?

GMs can't vote on their own series (some tried, but I didn't count them). So series where neither GM votes will have 1-2 more votes than series where the GMs voted. Notice that Round 1 had vote totals ranging from 15 to 18 (because of co-GMs voting)

(Minnesota-Halifax actually had 21 voters too, but one abstained saying something like he didn't know enough about either team, and there was no discussion that round of either team)

As you can see, I used a somewhat more liberal (ie. friendly to the loser) method of interpreting the number of games in the results. It didn't make any real difference, I think, but I regret it all the same, and think TDMM's method was probably better.

Oh right, I forgot about co-GMs.

And damn, I convinced only 4 voters in the quarters?

Dave & I got our ass royally kicked in the quarters. And I honestly thought we had a chance to win against Pittsburgh! (At least we lost against the ATD champion)
