I think Turris can be a consistent 60 point player with goals ranging between 20 and 30. Right now he's a 40-50 point player though and still improving!

Turris has been very good for us so far, and will only get better moving forward. His defence is very polished, and his offensive game is reaching its stride. I don't think it's out of the question that he becomes our Spezza replacement down the line. Maybe not as good offensively, but a better two-way player that can contribute 70 - 80 points a season.

he'll never be as good as spezza and is not a good replacement. (imo)

He has what it takes for 50-60 point seasons

He also makes players around him better unlike Mike Fisher

He also appears to be pretty clutch so that's exactly what the doctor ordered

Anyone still doubting Kyle Turris?

Perfect 2nd line center going forward IMO

Rundblads still in the AHL and we've go an 1B/2A clutch playoff center

He loves playing for Ottawa and it shows.

For the record, just in case anyone is still tracking that trade, the 2nd rounder we traded to Phoenix with Rundblad for Turris ended up in Phiadelphia's hands by the time the 2012 draft rolled around, and they used it to pick Anthony Stolarz.

1) We traded that 2nd rounder to Phoenix as part of the Turris deal.
2) Phoenix traded it to Columbus as a package for Antoine Vermette.
3) Columbus sent the pick to Philadelphia in the Bobrovski deal.
... our 2nd rounder that year was like the town bicycle: everyone got a turn with it!

This needs bumping.

In a season where so much has went wrong.

Turris has gone right.

Ridiculous season considering the play of the rest of the team. He is the catalyst on his line and has been our best forward this year.

The way he enters the zone is an absolute treat. He turns on the jets from the middle and creates so much scoring chances.

Turris is on pace for 26 goals, 60 points and +20.

Can Turris do better? What do you think his peak could be?

Turris, MacArthur and a HEALTHY Ryan for a whole season would be dominant.
They were already running the show early in the season prior to Ryan's injury

Only could've imagined what they could've done had Ryan been healthy... oh the things, they make me drool in my sleep.

I see Turris averaging around 70 points for most of his career, with perhaps a few seasons around 80 points if the team improves greatly as a whole. He's still so young and keeps getting better and better. We definitely have on our hands one of the best 2nd line centers in the league.

No way Turris gets 80 points.

70ish points will be a career year for Turris.

Imo he'll always hover around 25g 35a 60p.

He'll put up 20G, 60P consistently while controlling puck possession and playing very responsible defensively.

Good #1 center, elite #2 center.

I think he's going to average in the 55-65 point range and have a career year around 70.

There's a lot to be excited about with him. An unbelievable trade by Murray in every sense of the word.

50-70 pt man depending on his linemates and whether the D core improves enough to allow our team to play in the O zone more.

Whats even better is Murray signed him for 3.5M
Imagine what he would get as a UFA now

He's been good this year. Inconsistent towards the end of the season but that comes with being young. I mean look at Spezza, he had a cold start and he's a vet. But then I guess that's what's nice abotu having a good 1-2 punch. When one's slacking, the other can pick it up!

Our woes this season were more because of bad defence and tending than poor offense.
