Management should read this board a little bit before wasting draft picks.

What's the pan-out rate of 4th rounders anways?

5%?

Archambault now joins the huge ranks of 4th rounders that did not make it, at least not with our team.

Why it doesn´t look good for Hudon? Is it because he has a French name? He had an excellent year last season and the Canadiens have offered him a 3 years contract. Hudon is a highly skilled player with more potential than Archambault. I really don´t understand why it doesn´t look good for Hudon.

sorry if it's been posted before. I didn't see it. Feel free to delete.

I'm not surprised at all. Archambault won't receive an offer. I don't know if Pribyl will.
We should draft the guy on the picture. I mean on the right side, the 23.

I saw him play live for the Dogs one time. He actually impressed me with his speed and tenacity. He must have a piss poor attitude not to be offered a contract

I agree that Hudon may very well pan out. He just needs to mature physically. A wizard with the puck

He should be drafting 5 top 6 forwards every year and 2 Top 4 defensemen

I'm pretty sure some of the players this board was suggesting have done no better. I don't recall anybody clamoring for Subban in Round 2 a few years back...

Hmm... Thanks for this. If what you say is true then it's a good thing he was let go.

Not the end of the world, I guess his 10 game stint in Hamilton didn't do enough to impress the Habs brass.

Fourth round pick.

What's the potential of a fourth rounder making the NHL, four per cent?

It's blind squirrels finding nuts after they've been packaged at the supermarket around here.

If we are going to throw darts at a 4th round pick, why not see what the fans have to say about it? For that matter, Timmins could have researched the Kostitsyn pick on HF a little better as well. We had a better draft here than TT did.

I wonder if we're going to see Luc Gelinas tear up as much as he did back when he was drafted.

Yeah cause it sure blew up in our face with guys like Gallagher.

We should get Timmins to hire you instead of Churla.

He will be able to get an AHL contract somewhere. He will be a fringe AHL/NHLer and if he can get his head in the game a good 3rd liner down the road. Hope he makes it.

He showed good speed in Hamilton but his play tailed off. Still thought he would have gotten an AHL contract, but did have concerns about him being knocked off the puck so easily as he needs a lot of improvement on lower body strength. I would think he could do well in the ECHL next year if some team gives him an AHL contract.

Looking at the big picture, he was just the less interesting of our small prospects.
