So it's Minnesota and some other (NHL) teams, not just Minnesota.
It didn't come across properly but what I meant was 'his future includes staying in Finland, signing in Minnesota and other things' but, yes, other NHL teams are in the mix for him still, as well.

Elsewhere, Linus Omark wants to return to the NHL and maybe even return to Edmonton?!

So, can anyone tell me about these two young Swedish forwards that I'm interested in Jesper Fasth and Mario Kempe signed with an NHL organization yet?

I know Fasth is with the Rangers organization, not sure what the contract situation is, any info would be appreciated, thanks.

Fast signed with the Rangers last summer, he is expected to come play in North America this year.

Kempe, as far as I know, has no NHL ties.

Wow, good signing. He should see immediate playing time in Edmonton.

As for Raffl to the Flyers; this is a step forward for Austrian hockey.

Per this article
http://www.sportnu.se/724713/nhl-klu...agar-holloway/

Several NHL teams, including the Kings, have interest in Bud Holloway. Holloway is signed for another year in Sweden, but can opt out if he gets an NHL contract.

Also, several teams are still interested in Joacim Eriksson.

According to MTV3, they reached HIFK team president today who told that he knows Raanta's decision but he can't talk about it (yet).

Which IMO means he's signed with an NHL team, but the big question is, which one?

Anyone know why that is? Is that when his previous contract is officially up or something?

Complete speculation on my part, but it seems to me (IIRC) that the transfer agreements with IIHF member nations in the past had a June 1st to June 15th window. If this is still true with the new agreements, it means he could not sign in the NHL until June 1st during that window as a signed player in Europe.

Yeah, this is the speculation to the reason that Karri Ramo hasn't signed with the Flames yet. In that, a lot of european contracts don't officially expire until June 1st.

So how was Belov's situation different?

If that's the case then there shouldn't be anything stopping Ramo from signing with Calgary though.

Well I guess we will know more tomorrow.

actually, I was wrong. Ramo's contract expired at the end of last month, not the end of this month, but he can't be signed until July 5th due to a CBA clause regarding "defected FAs".
