Updated Kings #1 Prospect Poll

We have another prospect now that should be placed in his appropriate spot now so I thought it might be a good idea to have another series of polls.

Yeah, this is a super important poll. Now that the Kings have Jack Johnson, we need to re-examine everything.

I still say Kopitar but it's as close as it can get.

Yeah...that so? Make you feel big to tread on everyone's idea? Well, I've got one of my own: how bout we do a poll on the most popular posters? What d'ya think? Huh? IS THAT WHAT YOU WANT? Nah...I didn't think so.

See who's all chuckly and sardonic after that.

Huh? For the record, I think your post is problematic (harassment, fighting, or rude)

And, also for the record, if you did that poll, it would really not bother me in the least.

I picked Jack Johnson, because Jack ****ing Johnson wasn't a choice.

But really, can't we just results from the poll that was run a few weeks ago and put JJ on top and bump everybody else down a rung. I can't see that much else has changed.

A few weeks ago, there was a "2005 re-draft" thread on the prospects board. Pretty much everyone chose Crosby and Johnson as #1 and #2, followed by Kopitar and Brule (some had them as #3/4, others as #4/3). I think that that's a good indication and is accurate. IMO, Johnson is a potential franchise defenseman (ala Blake) and Kopitar is possibly not a potential franchise center, but, definitely, a potential superstar (ala Sundin). Also, I would say that there are fewer defensemen of Johnson's potential (maybe a half dozen at any one time) than centers of Kopitar's potential (maybe ten at any one time). Because of all of these things, I'd consider Johnson to be the Kings' #1 prospect, but it's very close and takes nothing away from Anze.

BTW, isn't it amazing? Just one month ago, many of us saw O'Sullivan as the team's best prospect, but, now, he's clearly 3rd. What a difference a month makes.

This was tough. Went with JFJ, by a hair. Then Kopitar, followed by O'Sullivan.

Yea, uh, this poll doesn't really need to happen. Just make a poll asking if JMFJ should be 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in relation to the previous ranking.

Heh, if you went "by hair", the winner is undisputable. Then a close tie of JFJ and PO.

And almost undoubtedly, more people are picking Kopitar over O'Sullivan now. I believe when this poll was done a month or two ago, O'Sullivan won the polls.
