doubting thomas

I wish I had the same optimism for tonite's game...
I see it as a 3-1 sabres win, with an empty-net goal. Does no-one here know how bad the Habs have fared recently in Boof-allo??

p.s. my long-shot prediction: Gui,Gui,Gui will get the CH's only goal (et la buuuuuuut)!

Buffalo is a good team, and I think that we can beat them, alot of people are saying that they might win this one. I don't agree. With the players we have we should have a pretty interesting season. In a good way. And a good first gaame. I can't wait to see what Samsanov does in the opening game.

If TORONTO can beat OTTAWA, we can beat the Sabres.

6-5 Habs in OT.

You seem like a charming and nice young man. Care for me to introduce you to my sister?

I'm really looking forward to seeing the new faces on the team - Johnson, Samsanov, Latendresse and Niinimaa all bring a new dynamic to the team. We have a lot of character and depth on this team - more than I can remember in a long time. Win or lose tonight (I think we will win BTW), the group we have this year doesn't strike me as one that will suffer through extended losing streaks.

It's gonna be a fun year - very competitive league and lots of young players developing - and it all starts tonight!

I'll be at the game tonight and it's going to be a good one. When Huet is on, he is like a wall. Hopefully he won't be TOO on tonight .

But I think it's going to be a close game. Maybe 3-2 buffalo in a shootout, but that can go either way.

Anyway, good luck to your team!

That sucks... my situation is as bad. I have to work from 7:30-8:30 as I am the "janitor" at a restaurant after it closes at 8:00. I'll try going at 7:15 to hopefully finish earlier.

This afternoon I dreamed that on his first shift, Latendresse had a ridiculous turnover while trying to be fancy leading to a goal by the Sabres. But then, as I laughed/cried at the situation, I noticed that Latendresse was finally the guy who scored and it was 1-0 Canadiens because the Habs were wearing the vintage Leafs' jersey while the Sabres were wearing the Habs jersey.

My Cristo' ball tells me the Habs are winning their 25th Cup this year, and that the Habs are gonna beat the Sabres 3-2...and that BONKY gets the GWG.
