Nick Leddy against the LA forecheck would be hilarious times

Just not for us

The Kings are a boring team. Nothing exciting about that the 3rd period at all. They're just not interested in playing hockey when they get a lead....Oh yeah playoff hockey that's right.

it's effectiv, thats what it's about. They win the games. How they win them doesn't matter in the end

LA prevailed against a damn determined Sharks team last night with Quick back into Conn Smythe form.

Not to get ahead of ourselves but Hawks will need to be at their best if they do advance to the conference finals. LA takes no prisoners physically, which obviously will be a big challenge …. The good news is that they have trouble scoring themselves.

Yeah, you have to make them play from behind or you're in trouble.

It would be important, if we make it to win our home games. LA hasn't lost at home this playoffs.

If you want to be depressed for about 11 minutes, here's a short documentary about Clint Malarchuk and his recovery.

http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/...mentary-series

Fair warning: They do show the skate to the neck incident. It never gets any less gruesome.

Yeah, it's a shame that NBC HAD to have Pens/Bruins game 1 on the main network.

They should have done it tonight. Nobody would miss Dateline.

Dateline pulls 3x the ratings an NHL game would.

Which, I can say with 100% certainty, is one of the most unfortunate realities in the country. Aside from gas prices, the unemployment rate, and the Ice Capades.

I enjoyed that Boston-Pens game immensely. Always love to see Pittsburgh's glorious offense get shutout.

Interesting appears Kings have there own Ludvig Rensfeldt situation as they wont offer G Christopher Gibson a contract (2011 2nd rounder)

Didn't realize Gibson had struggled that much over last 2 years

+1 to that...I hate the Pens. I see the Pens as the Canucks of the east i.e. skilled, but dirty and whiny when things don't go their way. Both teams are very skilled offensively, yet terrible defensively and in the net. The two have similar types of fans as well...

I only caught a bit, but it was the lovely part where Sidney "-2" Crosby went into crybaby mode. I also loved when he started yelling at Chara...what? Sid didn't feel like fighting him?

I'd take my chance on Gibson...

he will reenter the draft, right?
