I want to say I feel bad for someone losing their job but then I remembered that he gets 1.1 million dollars anyway.

So

Brown has been amazing lately. Glad to see he's hitting the ball well.

Cut Delmon please. You admitted you were wrong with Durbin now get rid of this pig too.

EDIT: I have never seen anything like this with Cole. Errors, bloopers, dribblers. It is stunning. I don't know what Cole did but his luck is ******* horrible

this team is terrible. Chuck and Ruben better be gone by the trade deadline.

They scored for Cole... aaaaand he sucked. Sure there was some bad defense, lucky hits, but plenty of hard hit ones too.

Brown is the first MLB player ever to hit 10+ HR in a month and have 0 BB.

Apparently the Phillies asked the same question.

Feel free to ask why Delmon Young has a job as well

At least DeFratus and Stutes pitched well? Dom hit two home runs? I don't know. I mean Hamels was fine to begin with. After the third bloop hit and second error, I think Hamels was just mentally drained. Seriously, what the hell went on in that third inning?

I want to be optimistic but between Amaro's stellar offseason acquisitions and Philadelphia's absolute **** luck, it's really difficult.

Wow, at this point I much rather have John jr out in right. Young is just terrible and I would argue that John is better at just about everything right now.

Young should be drug out into the street and shot. I say he should be dragged along because he still runs like a *******. Seriously, can a fielder fail more than Young has tonight?

That was an obvious drop. Second base ump needs to be in a better position to make that call. I mean why would he have the ball in his free hand if everything was good. KK didn't complain but even if he didn't it wouldn't have mad a difference.

Hopefully the Phillies finally see what should have been obvious from the very beginning: Delmon Young is terrible and whatever role he might have on a team would be filled more adequately by Mayberry.

Neither of these players should be starting on any team.

Absolutely correct, I think the point was to pick the lesser of two evils so to speak. Mayberry can at least play defense and right now it's not like you'd lose much if anything in terms of offense. Mayberry is also a better runner so maybe he can steal a few as well. Young just sucks in ever aspect of the game right now.

True, but that doesn't mean the team wouldn't be better with him starting than with Young. Mayberry would make a fine righthanded half of a platoon too, which is what they should have been doing all along: Nixberry.
