I've always believed that Davidson was our most underrated prospect due to Klefbom, Marincin and the exposure Gernat and Musil get being Oil Kings. Very impressive player, not surprised to hear that he is doing so well. Both him and Fedun could possibly be Oilers in a few years.

Do they normally televise the AHL finals (if we make it)?

Hows Pitlick playing?

Could he be our #3 center in another year?

They were saying that he wouldn't even be ready until the cup finals if they made it.

Haha to the Wings. But it doesn't necessarily help as it's hard to drop a bunch of guys in and move them around with pressure to win. Oilers sent a bunch of guys down last time they were in the playoffs and it seemed to hurt more than it helped. Didn't the Oilers specifically say they weren't sending anyone down this time? I wonder if it was for the nhl players benefit or if Nelson specifically asked for a bunch of players not to be sent down.

Poor guys. Now they will have to experience being eliminated from the playoffs twice!

The start of tonight's game in Oklahoma City will be delayed as we continue to monitor weather conditions in the area.

4-0 Final. GRG get dominated 40-28 on the shot clock, but young blue-chipper Mrazek gets it done between the pipes. Solid contributions by newcomers Nyquist and Andersson to get a lead, and the GRG execute their system to a tee to get the victory.

I said it before, and I'll say it again. The addition's of Nyquist/Andersson spell the end for OKC.

And with Dekeyser soon to enter the fold, they're likely favorites for the AHL championship.

It's already been said here, Dekeyser doesn't see the ice in this series, which means he doesn't see it at all.

He's recovering from an injury, if they make it through the possibility exists he returns.

Regardless who comes out of the West, I see Syracuae as the favorite. Should Grand Rapids move on I won't have a problem rooting for them though. Classy organization who have gone above & beyond to help Oklahoma out.

Nyquist and Andersson definitely change the dynamic of the series, but I think the OKC losing 2 of their center men in House & Lander, who both are monumental on the PK, also makes this much tougher.

Any word on when Lander might return?
