You won't have too many problems getting tickets for those games, even the Jokerit-HIFK derby doesn't sell out all that quickly. Of course, I would still recommend buying them when come out if you can though, in order to get a choice of seating location.

Thanks again guys.

Since I will purchase plane tickets and hotel today I was hoping to get hold of the game tickets at the same time.

Any idea when these will be released?

Early to say now, but from your perspective you must hope that Lars Volden gets to play in Saturday's game?

That would be a nice bonus However just being in Finland, watching quality hockey is going to be awesome

Tickets to Jokerit - HIFK purchased.

Now, where should we go for hockey chat and beers prior to the game?

See you guys there, me and my friend got game+plane tickets booked for that Jokerit-HIFK already, coming from Kuopio. Wanted to see the last legendary Jokerit-HIFK played at hartwall for SM-Liiga points before Jokerit joins KHL. Center Ice tickets obviously. Anyone knows why the other side in the center ice is cheaper than other?

We just need some cheap but solid hotel / motel, any knowledge about them? And any clubs or bars recommended?

Wider chairs + club restaurant which is open only for those who have tickets in one of the stands it's linked.

Enjoy the trip. Qnebo too.

I just hope Jokerit fan section Eteläpääty is loud in this game and not protesting Karalahti signing too much (and maybe KHL).

As your hotel probably is in downtown, Sports Academy or Sport Pub Chelsea might be good ones to take some beer before the game. Both are located near to Helsinki railway station. And Jokerit fans bar "West Corner" is located near to Pasila train station (Pasilankatu 8). Easy to walk to arena from there.

Doesn't look like it now. Most capos intend to sit elsewhere for a while at least. The fans were silent in the ET game vs Färjestad.

I thought they are going for the home opening game but it's the one in 29.11. Friday game, nice...

Thanks Finnpin. It actually feels pretty cool and special to go to see that game. I've only once seen Jokerit - Kiekko-espoo at Arena when I was kid. The "ice hall" was something that I couldn't even ever have imagined to be possible (arena were just new). Cool to go to see a game there again.

Probably "Apple hotel" it is.

In case anyone is interested, European trophy game EC RedBull Salzburg - Oulun Kärpät will be streamed live here http://www.laola1.tv/en/int/ice-hock...51-128836.html
It's gonna start in about 10 minutes

EDIT: well, it seems it's not available in Finland. Good job by Kärpät to promote the stream on their Facebook page I guess I gotta try some proxies then
