I watched the Bruins game last night and don't see why the Pens went into school boy ***** mode. Reminded me of Flyers series last year a little.

I have to concur with that statement. Just waiting for Iggy to fall into the trap of being a Pen and start acting like a child like the rest of the team.

Iggy was that player well before he joined the Pens. That team suits him to a t.

They need a calming veteran presence in the worst way.

That game was fun, Crosby going after Chara was funny, you really want a piece of that after having just gotten your jaw fixed, Chara would make sure you have to eat with a straw for the rest of your life. And dont go trying to punk a goalie after a period, that a B move, but I expect nothing else from well...........

Oh and look at the new and improved Matt Cooke right? Maybe now people will shut the hell up about guys like him and Torres, changing their games, they haven't. Once a d-bag, punk, cheapshot artist, always a d-bag, punk, cheapshot artist.

How either of them are still in the league, while the league proclaims to care about players safety above all else, is ridiculous. Both have had several suspensions for several cheap head and from behind shots and the league just slaps their wrist and that's it. Cooke has already ended one players career, what does he have to kill someone before the league finally takes action, sadly they might get their wish if they keep him out there.

I read somewhere that Hawks were interested in Antii Raanta.

Going to be watching the Pens/Bruins and Heat/Pacers game at the bar for weekly trivia tomorrow. Should be a good'un.

A ton of teams were interested in him

But from I recall hearing he has limited his teams to Edm/Win and someone else I am forgetting right now

Raanta said he signed but they haven't announced it yet. Possible that it's one of the PO Teams left. 3 of them could need a new backup next season

Pittsburgh proving what we've known all season long. They don't have the defense to hang.

I love the inevitable blow-up of the Penguins every year. Everyone, or at least most people, knew this was coming. Can't win a Cup without ANY defense/goaltending.

The goal Fleury let in was worse than any of the ones Vokoun allowed

As much fun as this is I wish Pitt would win the series so the Hawks could potentially play them. Boston is tough.

I feel the same.

...but still, it's fun watching someone else's team meltdown.

it makes me wonder how the leafs would have done if they'd just hung on against boston. what if...what if...

the playoffs thread on the flyers' board is pretty funny. unsurprisingly, they're enjoying the series so far

I'm not surprised Pittsburgh is losing but I am surprised in the manner in which they are losing. They aren't even capable of doing what they do best right now, scoring.

Come on, Penguins. Can't you win this series? It would help the Hawks if they make it past the Kings!
