The only one with a little bit of talent in there is Torres.

Those of you dreaming about Bordeleau, it looks like you might have to forget about him.

Per Adrian Dater

Quote:
It's Patrick Bordeleau. Hat tip to @25Stanley for being the first to report that the Avalanche enforcer has a new deal with the team. He said it's a 3-year deal at around $1 million per.
The Avs tell me the deal is not official yet, but "close."
I know, speaking with Bordy late last season, that he was really looking for a three-year deal and it appears he may have it. Good for Bordy.

I'm happy.

I'm happy.
No way was Patrick Roy going to let him go........especially with a bit of interest in Montreal.

I'm happy for Bordeleau, Avs will be fun to watch, I predict Patrick will use very well.

At least there's plenty of other names to set our eyes on.

Torres doesn't belong on this list. Or is there another Torres other than Raffi that I'm not thinking of?

Torres is not a heavy, he will solve some of our issues for the playoffs, but in the regular season this guy won't solve anything. He can't fight for his life. The only ones I would target on that list are Bordeleau and McGratten, Torres won't solve anything.

He would be interesting. Wonder how Bourque and him would get along

I like the thought of having Torres, even if other fanbases would further accuse us of being divers and cheap shotters

I love how 2 of the GOAT players (Roy and Sakic) believe in having a heavy (Bordeleau) on their roster but yet those of us in this thread who are in favor of bringing a heavy to the Habs are called out of touch with the current NHL reality.

Maybe it's actually the opposite ?

You think? People here think these guys are useless, yet freaking Hall of Famers don't.

Who's right?

I agree with your post but what the hell is a GOAT player?

Who cares, come PO time none of these goons are of any use. 5 fights in last month in these PO's. 2 of them being Malkin fights and 1 of them being a Gallagher vs Conchar fight.

There is no use for them once the real games start.

I want both McGrattan and Torres.

McGrattan for fighting
Torres for hitting

Some people just don't get it. This has nothing to do with the playoffs.

You have to get there, though.

Carkner, Engelland, Thornton, Kassian, Orr, Fraser disagree with you .Also, I could probably add Haley and Newbury but they aren't heavy.

I would like to take a flyer on McGrattan.

He is probably the biggest and baddest dude around with the fists. He can hardly play but it may be worth padding the roster to see him call on: Chara, Neil, Orr, Kassian, etc...

I can't stand Crosby but it has bugged me to see Chara and his interactions. I just want a guy that scares people. A guy that the Prusts, Whites, Moens, PK's, Gallaghers, Dumont's and whomever else can look down the bench at and feel encouraged to take it up a level.
