Yeah maybe, when I played with him (or against) he was a winger but I admit I have no idea what his position was with the academy.

If anyone's interested, Troy Perkins was on the MLS Podcast recently and addressed (among other things) Sporting KC's coach comments.

(Perkins is around 30 minutes)

Looks like Perkins is well aware of hockey's priority in this town

I can't stand KC. I just hate them, from day 1.

IMFC at the top in the power rankings.

http://www.mlssoccer.com/news/articl...r-avenging-los

That team is really impressive. I hope all of Montreal will get in the bandwagon this summer because we could have interesting playoffs.

Do they sell those flags that you put on the rear windows of your car with the team logo? Since the media won't do much to promote the Impact, maybe the hardcore fans should start bearing the team colors around town..

I'd love to go watch a reserve game at some point, but why would they put games midweek in the middle of the day?

Do they have a schedule up for all the academy games?

Forget, found it. http://www.impactmontreal.com/fr/sch...reserve-league

Interesting to see that Rodriguez played the reserve game. So he's near game shape, I hope we see him with the main team soon. Judging by the starting 11, it seems he played as a RW, with Smith on the Left and Messoudi and Delpiccolo as CFs.

Also interesting that this friday's reserve game will apparently be streamed live on uslnation.com

Am I crazy to be excited about seeing the reserve team?

That's because you want to see Messoudi, Del Piccolo and Rodriguez play.

Who played goalie btw? Bush or Crepeau?

Random thought, I'd really like it if we could find a free kick specialist that can play in the starting XI this summer window. Its really something that we are lacking

My friend used to play with him when he was 13. He was going to a high school at Chomedey for secondary 1 only, I think. That same guy told me few weeks ago to watch for him and was going to be the next signing but I didnt believe him and told him that he was going to get released. haha I know its not important but still some trivia

Seems that you were right my friend, Messoudi played as a winger today. I was sure he was a CAM, oh well, good I guess. We still need a guy that can take Felipe's spot if needed though.

Also for the power rankings I assume he is referring to us

In comes Rodriguez and Del Piccolo . Our midfield prospect depth is insane right now.

Saputo and De Santis have hit A LOT of singles and doubles since the end of last season ( Pisanu, Romero, Paponi, Rodriguez, Del Piccolo, the Mapp contract, etc...), now we need a home run.

Totti? Ambrosini? Pirlo... THAT would be an home run

Pirlo would be a Grand Slam. His nickname is the Architect. He is Nesta's best friend, according to wikipedia. They say he makes up for his lack of physicallity with an encredible technique and intelligence. He plays OCM where a CDM would normally play on the field, near the defenders. Bernier could be his "bodyguard", like Gattuso used to be. Finally, Pirlo is a Free Kick expert. He would be the perfect fit.
