Not as bad...but I'm a 9er fan. There were some BLATANT non-calls towards the end of the game. So it does happen. The NBA is pretty bad too.

There all bad, but the NHL takes it to a whole other level. There is two entirely different rule books for officiating, one for the regular season and one for the POs. There's no doubt about that.
Not only that, but it's the same for supplementary discipline.

Every team has some form of luck....which is why mentioning it the way you do makes no sense. It's like hitting a jump shot that hits the rim and bounces in. Yea, there's some lock there but it's negligable..why even mention it? It's a given.

Boston isn't a lucky team. They are good...have they had some lucky bounces? Yes....so has Pittsburgh. Why mention it?

I never said they were a lucky team. Last game I made an observation that they were getting all the lucky bounces (up until 3-1). That's all. Apparently that was too much and somehow sparked a debate. One that I tried to kill many times by acknowledging that Boston is playing amazingly well.

Sometimes it's worth mentioning because it stands out. To me, last game, everything the Bruins were doing worked, everything the Pens did didn't. So it stood out.
Tonight, the first goal was following the same trend, but as it ends up, bounces are pretty even tonight, and look at that, it's a tied game.

Crosby must be playing injured...he's not showing the lower body strength he usually does...also looks quite sluggish.

Not sure what's happening to this kid....Big case of losing confidence...Really wonder how he'll be next year. You can't have a talent like that and have such a big drop.

Obviously the ref gives both players penalties though Lucic attacks Cooke from behind and comes in as a third man and mugs him.

Advantage to Bruins on a 4 on 4. Incredible. Bruins don't get penalties and when they do, it's 4 on 4 when they look very good. Much better actually than when they have a PP....
