I just hope Murray is smart with this decision.
It's been 12 minutes since Peeters retired. Give it a second. Also, Allaire left Toronto under pretty bad circumstance. Also,

I was thinking Junior Vice President of the brand new 'seeing into the future' department, I mean we have to make use of his brilliant psychic skills right?

True. Since Miss Cleo was busted I have nowhere to turn to for getting the future told. We could use some of that in the Ducks front office too.

Is he going to show our goalies how to get a whistle by having their mask magically fall off while the opposing team is swarming the net?

I wonder if the reason we signed Roloson was because management knew of Peters intentions before the season ended. It's very rare that a team has 2 goalie coaches associated with their organization.

Not at all unlikely. People who know they want to retire sometimes give their employer an early heads up.

I really disliked Roloson as a player. Most likely from running into him in the playoffs on 2003 and 2006. 06 was when he really got on my bad side, and I know a lot of other Duck fans felt the same way.

I'm glad he's coming in to coach our goalies though. He was always one of the smarter goalies in the NHL. I can never forget that crazy pass he threw up to Peca for a shorty in the WCF, and the helmet thing, his feel for the game was a notch above most other goalies. He'll make a good teacher, and he's going to push our goalies pretty hard. Roloson was always trying to find ways to tweak his style. He acted like a perfectionist in that sense. I expect him to bring the same competitiveness as a coach as he did in the net.
