I believe Markus Eisenschmid is supposed to come over this year.
Other than him I can only guess. Here are a few names that would not surprise me, if I heard them on draft day.

Parker Tuomie
Janik Möser
Maximilian Kammerer

There could be more especially among our '95s but I haven't heard anything about specific players that have said they would like to play in the CHL.

There was a rumor last week that a Swedish top goalie prospect was going to get picked high, but we couldn't figure out who.

Högberg will play with Mora SEL-2. Jonas Johansson or Ebbe Siönäs? Siönäs more likely.

He's not a goalie but Burakovsky is supposed to come over.

I certainly hope Ottawa isnt connected to this. Ive seen now more than on one occasion that the 67s could potentially be targeted a young "swedish goaltender" with the second overall pick. Even though both thier goalies where awfull last season Id still selfishy rather see them bring in a big time offensive forward who help put even more fans in the seats at Scotianbank

Was it a real rule or was it like when people said there was an American draft, can teams trade their Euro picks or no?

The Sens should draft Burakovsky and make sure he plays for the 67's. He has mentioned the OHL as the league he was mostly interested coming to. That's a fun player to watch.

CH_WillyPalov A new rule will go into effect soon preventing QMJHL teams from trading their import picks.

Looks like it's only for the Q, though.
I'm guessing it'll probably go into effect next year.
This is in addition to the restriction of payments to import players.

This scenario crossed my mind as well. Burakovsky's father of course played in Ottawa back in the day as well.

Yeah I kinda figured that might be the case. I believe Ryan Kennedy from THN also tweeted about it a couple of weeks ago so there must be some truth behind it, unfortunatly

Nikita Lyamkin was excellent at the World U17's. Love so many things about his game. He's going to have to hit the weights tho. I think could go very high in the Import Draft. He's a 2014 Eligible.

Fredrik Bergvik? Stockholm kid currently playing in Gothenburg and has never really gotten a chance with the junior national teams. Seems to fit the type that would normally go.

He's definitely going to stay in Sweden and play with his father.

I think any hockey player with a good relationship with their father would pick playing on their fathers line > CHL even if they were a born and raised Canadian drafted by their hometown team

Yes, Nikolaj Ehlers signed a pro-contract with EHC Biel of the NLA and will surely stay there as he said no thank you to several Swedish Jr. Teams.

A little follow up information (though it is a little off topic):

4 German players were selected in the USHL Entry Draft this year

10th Round - #149 - Parker Tuomie - Sioux Falls Stampede
11th Round - #164 - Janik Möser - Sioux Falls Stampede
12th Round - #168 - Marcel Kurth - Des Moines Buccaneers
13th Round - #183 - Tim Bender - Des Moines Buccaneers

I don't know if that indicates a general willingness to play in North America or if there are any commitments to these teams.
Last year Frederik Tiffels was selecte in both the USHL Entry Draft and the CHL Import Draft, and he ended up playing in the USHL and will play in the NCAA next season.
