BFL CANADA offers a complete range of Risk Management and Risk Control services, Commercial Insurance products and services, and Employee Benefits Consulting Services to sports organizations, businesses, professionals, manufacturers and local governments, national and international organizations, and groups and associations. “The BFL CANADA family takes great pride in officially partnering with the PHPA. The sports industry is a passion for us and we take to heart to inform our clients on existing and emerging insurance trends and exposures. We look forward to a long relationship with the PHPA, the Teams and the Players,” said Nellie Lindner, Vice President, and National Practice Leader for Film & Entertainment - Central and Western Region for BFL CANADA Risk and Insurance Services Inc.

“BFL CANADA has proudly demonstrated their support towards the PHPA, its Membership, and the entire hockey community for many years, and we are thrilled that they will be taking the extra steps to help educate our Members with respect to the importance of insurance and its place in their life,” said PHPA Executive Director, Larry Landon. “Formalizing this longstanding partnership with the PHPA will not only allow BFL CANADA to elevate their brand exposure in the hockey and sport communities, but will provide new and enhanced methods of interacting directly with PHPA Members towards participation in various insurance programs and initiatives.”

BFL CANADA will continue to be a presenting sponsor of the PHPA Annual Meeting of Player Representatives, and will receive increased interaction opportunities with PHPA Members through regular communication initiatives, as well as exposure through the PHPA’s REDLINE program - a free, confidential counseling and resource program available to all PHPA Members and their families who may be dealing with personal off-ice issues.
Sounds like the Redline Program is similar to the NHL-NHLPA substance abuse/etc. program.
