OT- Fantasy Hockey (merged)

Hey, was wondering how many of you guys are into those things - Personally, I love 'em, escpecially the Yahoo ones, ya know... doing your line ups... trades... I LOVE TRADES.
What sites/leagues do you guys do? Always looking for new sites to use, as amazing, and fun yahoo is, I'd like to give another site a try.

Thanks
Filiab *Go Habs*

P.S Hello Er_Gree, and drive for, care to lose in NHL 07?

Hockey pools are awesome.

I was having a conversation about the evolution of hockey drafts with a buddy the other day.

I can remember having to wait until Tuesday to update drafts cause that's the day stats came out in the paper. And anticipating the paper to do your points from the night before, cause there was no other way of knowing.

Then Headline sports, the Godsend, showed up. We watched that channel all the time, even though it was just the scores and stats back then. No sound (except music), and no live people. Basically just a computer screen.

Ahhh, the pre-internet days. Back when people actually did work at work.

Knuble = Meh. Other than that, looks solid.

How many teams? That's a solid team.

Drop Knuble for a risky young guy, like Bernier, Michalek, Zherdev, Radiahojavic (sp?), etc...

that better be hossa who plays for ATL, otherwise if its the other one, drop him for Prucha!
knuble is not my fav, although he is supposed to play on forsberg line. you could try to trade him.

not too sure about modry or boyle for that matter, you could try to trade them, although there might be some good D available if you only have 9 teams. check out for Salo playing top PP in van city with the sedin bros

I like it, it's similar to mine. I bolded the players that I too have in most of my pools.

OT: CBC HNIC Fantasy Pool

I've created a league on CBC HNIC Fantasy Pool and invite any who would like to join. Looks quite fun - lots to do to add to the fun from week to week.

CBC HNIC Hockey Pool

League: Habs Win The Cup
Password: montreal

Create a team and join if you'd like.

Make a team of 10 players (2LW, 2RW, 2C, 3D, G). Salary cap used. 6 player add/drop per week.

Begins week of Oct.14. Players carry over from week to week if you make no changes.

Very nice interface - automatic point scoring, leaderboards, etc...

Weekly prizes available (through CBC and KIA - not me).

My team: jcrow

Good Luck

Yeah. I didn't catch that, but my brother-in-law did. He told me about it. Looks really good. Good luck!
