It's going to be a crazy series... Whether they win or lose, Hawks will hate the Bruins so much by the end of it.

Really happy. Because the hawks have always been my 2nd team and also because boston doesn't get to rest for a week waiting for the West team. GO HAWKS

You know my prediction...unfortunately. Chicago will see a MUCH better defensive system. And Rask vs Crawford....it's not even close. Should be tougher than in 4 games.....but Luca Ciampini will be happy. Not us though.

If Chicago could just not respect Boston the way the last 2 teams did, they have a chance. The greatest news is that they will have the much needed break too.

Kane and Toews did it.
Kane: three goals, Toews: two passes.

These two just regained their confidence.
Bruins are going to have a hard time to shut them down.
The SC final will depend on the ability of the Bruins to shut down Toews and Kane.

Kopitar and Brown were sub-par (or they outpaced themselves in 2012).

It is fabulous to see two teams from the first 6 teams in SC finals.

by name, not close. how they're playing right now, pretty damn close. crawford out played quick most nights, and is a big reason why they got by detroit. I have nothing but respect for Crawford, and how he has played. he was very, very good tonight.

Maybe Habs management will help their old team Chicago and send video games of how Habs use speed to take the Bruins apart. Play the Habs way and Boston gets swept.

Speed kills the B's and the Hawks have lots of it.

That being said, I'm stoked about this series. Original six, the atmosphere of it all, it'll be incredible! Hawks in 7! Go Hawks!

Looking at the 2007 draft, he has 424 points.
Next one is Gagner at 258.

Backstrom drafted in 2006 has 415 points.

You have to give it to Kane.

But I would trade him for:
Drafted before him: Crosby and Ovechkin.
Drafted after him: Stamkos and Tavares.

Best finals in years!!! Nothing beats an original six meeting. The rest of the league to me is just plain superficial. This final will be a killer! Like the unknown factor, since they haven't met this season. Chicago in 6.

My wish...Chicago in 7. Always better to make Boston think they can actually win it and then....don't. And it's always great to win at home.

My prediction...Boston in 6. And I won't watch their celebration at home.

Bruins can skate with any team in the league.

Hawks defense (and goals) is able to compete with the Bruins.

Defense wins the cup: Keith, Seabrook, Hjamalstrom, Oduya is a great defense.

Hawks offense is better than the Bruins and their defense is also better.

Who do you want as your goalie: Quick or Rask?

Because Hawks just won against Quick...

If Chicago was able to tumble Quick, they will get to Rask.

Quick having to do miracles on top of miracles makes me believe that the LA Kings defense wasn't that great in that series and/or the defensive system wasn't up to par. I believe Boston and Julien will do better in that field. Rask will surely again have to be better than he ever was....but maybe to a lesser extend that Quick had to do.

LA was a hurting team. I think the Hawks are a lot healthier and so have a better chance against the Bruin than the Kings would.

Still, the Kings are a very stingy team to play against and Quick is an amazing goaltender. The Bruins playing a Pens team where nothing was going right [for the Pens] leads me to think that it's similar to how Ottawa appeared to be much superior to the Habs.

I think the Hawks can take it.

I think it'a Pokemon name.

The fact the hater may be a fan of Pokemon is most likely, an even bigger embarrassment than the fact he can't recognise Plekanec's value to the team.

Whoever wins this series, I think it will be short either way. Both teams are multi-dimensional but their primary identities are quite contrasting. The team that finds a way to win the first game will ride the wave all the way to the cup in 5 games.

I'm predicting bruins in 5, but I'll be cheering for Chicago since I find their brand of hockey more pleasing to the senses.

I also find it shocking that these two teams never managed to face each other in the finals, despite being original 6 teams. How does that happen?
