Perezhogin is far superior to Latendresse at this point, and the same goes for Bonk vs. Kyle.

Let the good play at least a year in the AHL on a good team. It will do nothing but help him.
I agree that Perezhogin > Latandresse at the moment, and ne1 who thot Perezhogin shud be booted for him obviously has too much faith in young kids. Fact is, not everyone is an ovechkin or crosby. Even people picked FIRST overall have been complete crap before (Alexander Daigle). Either way. I think Kostitsyn should've been brought up rather then Latendresse.

Cause fact is Montreal won't be able to get rid of bonk easily. Especially not in anyway that will "lower" our cap.

Another "fact", perreault was traded from MTL for a reason, he wasn't producing.

He was producing enough for a 3rd liner. What do you prefer? Bonk at $2.4M producing 20 points by year or a Perreault at $500K producing at least 30 points by season ?

For me, my choice is clear!

Yeah and fact is, how do u get rid of bonks salary? You don't cause no team will take him. Therefore still remaining the same idea as all along, you can't dump bonk, u can't get sum1 to replace him, plain and simple.

This one is gold

Bonk had some wheels in training camp , didn't use them much so far trough. Our slowest foward has probaly been Latendresse in the 2 1st games.

Very much so...I want to see the kid do well and lay some people out but he can't actually catch anyone to hit them.

Bonk is my no means a speedster, or even a fast skater, but there are guys out there who stand out to me as way way slower then him.

He's pretty quick for a guy his size...I mean there are few 6'3" 210 lbs guys who are speedsters.

If anything, skating is one of Bonk's assets.

He just looks slow because he's never involved in the play .

Bonk is slow at best (some could say very slow)...and he looks even slower cuz he's playing with 2 guys who have a good amount of speed. There lies the problem...he's holding them back. The reason he looked "quick" in the pre-season was cuz a) he was playing against non-nhlers and b) he was playing with slow to average speed players (ex; Latendresse). I guess it's sort of a "placebo" effect...by seeing other players around him who were as slow or slower, people suddenly thought Bonk was "fast".

The fastest I've ever seen Bonk skate is back when there was an uncontested puck at around centre ice and he was trying to beat a defenceman for it with an empty net waiting at the other end of the ice.

ZOOM!

EN goal for Bonk!

You mention Bonk playing good hockey...The guy has 45.8% FO wins, 3 giveaways and 0 hits. You call that good hockey? Open your eyes... The guy is nothing but a fourth liner, and has been dragging the 3rd line down.
Funny... you used to be a gigantic fan of players like that. I wonder what changed your tune.

The players now in Hamilton are at the proper level for the moment. Too many impurities to filter out of the barrel. No wine before its time.

all this ' good defence ' and ' experience ' crap, give it up people, bonk has SUCKED since he got here.... the only reason to keep putting him out there is because he is more talented than half the team, so you would assume at some point he would get it together, and yes, chipper could use a year in hamilton . Next year Colorado will sign him( they love those washed up ex-habs), and we can forget the reign of radek ever happened
