Could Flyer fans delve into which forward position is Read's best?

Buffalo has no incentive to trade Foligno, it just won't happen.

Read for Bernier is fair.

^^^my bad. thought read was a d man. he's a third liner and smallish so i don't think a bernier for read straight up would happen. bernier, brown for simmonds though.

Kings need someone who is comfortable on the left side. Williams, Carter, and especially Toffoli are not

Carter didn't want to play anywhere but Center in Philly.

what are LAs need? is their a particular position they would want? do they want a player similar age as bernier? a little older so they know what they are getting? prospect? picks?

would a deal around frattin and a 2nd be of any interest?

Kings need yang and talented left wing. Frattin is not left wing.

Another Flyers East and Flyers West trade? Sure haha

I think this would work for both teams, especially if the Flyers buy out Bryz. LA gets a guy who will work perfectly in that system.

LA isn't Philly. He's been wing and center here

I'd take Read for Bernier.

If the Kings could get Read, Holloway, and maybe Vey infused into the line up they could be even more solid next year.

Only because it came from McKenzie. If any one on HF proposed this you would get the typical "LOLZ Bernier>>>>>>>(insert player name)" responses.

I think Philly should add a conditional 2014 pick. Conditional on Read re-signing in LA.

What are the chances of Halloway coming back? I didn't think it was good.

I'd be ok with that.

Bernier for Read and a conditional 2nd if read doesn't resign.

I don't think so at this point. Bernier will be a RFA in a few weeks Read has another year at a great cap hit. He's a backup goalie with starter potential thats being blocked by one of the best goalies in the NHL who is only 27 years old. Will he really command more than a 26 year old entering his prime who will likely score 25 goals and 50 points year in and year out while being a good defensive player?

read and 3rd would be fair but i still say the islander offer of 1st 3rd and kk would be the best deal for la.

Read to L.A. for Bernier makes a lot of sense. Read gives the Kings a good Penner replacement on the second line if they lose him this offseason. Losing Read's versatility would hurt, but Bernier gives them a potential number one if Bryz gets bought out. Seems like a fair deal.
