You smoke and drink yet you take 15 minutes 4 times a day to pray.

Warnings for insensitivity ?? So HF will dictate how we should feel ? This coming from someone who starts a debate about french every 10 days ?

And BTW, religion is not a race.

Any word about the details of the crash ?

That quote freak the hell out of me , RIP

Quote:
“The whole plane has a parachute on it,” Lidle said. “Ninety-nine percent of pilots that go up never have engine failure, and the 1 percent that do usually land it. But if you’re up in the air and something goes wrong, you pull that parachute, and the whole plane goes down slowly.”

Its actually true that he had no bussiness flying up there because after 9/11 its forbidden to fly any plane above manhattan...still no one deserves an ending like that.

The area where he was was unrestricted air space, believe it or not.

There is an airport in NYC, they can't exclude everywhere.

Quite sad.

Kovalev's reaction to Lidle's accident

I read this article in the Gazette this morning...they spoke to Kovy about what had happened becuase Kovy himself is a pilot...here is the link and an interesting (cocky??) quote from Kovy...

"It's a bad thing to think about for any pilot. (But) I'm more experienced. I have a serious plane, better than (the one) he was flying. Every year, I go through flight safety school. You get experience, keep up with the ratings. I'm more experienced in those situations; it probably wouldn't happen to me."

He's just telling it like it is. Basically saying that Lidle was still learning and that could of had something to do with what happened. While Kovalev is much more experienced and might of handeld the situation better if he was able to.
