I'm fine trading you Rome if you want, but no defensemen can be coming back.

Fair value, but a little off on needs. Definitely willing to sell high on Fraser to a team who needs top 6 players.

The OP would be the definition of selling low on Fraser.

I'm more of a believer of Y. Weber than most, don't know why though. And Rome is just to sweeten the pot mostly, doesnt have a clear role. Throw in a second and its alot more of a better offer.

I think Moen would fit in nicely if Dallas isn't looking to bring back Nystrom.

can you consider swaping Nystrom vs Moen ... Something like :

Nystrom right + Cody Payne Vs Moen ?

Moen isn't worth giving up Payne. Not that Payne will turn into much, but the chance is there and there are always cheap 4th line UFAs to be had.

We don't have a late 7th this year. Maybe we will next year?

I guess I'm confused about the rationale for Montreal. Does the OP want Fraser or Rome? I don't want to give up on Fraser before he gets a chance to win a top 6 spot, but if Habs fans want Rome I am more than willing to trade him for a 4th liner or a pick.
