How it looks in KHL. Who had the longest know contract?
It's not usual for the KHL because this league is not as stable and developed as the NHL. 1 or 2-year contracts are the most common, but I hope if everything will be done right, the situation will change and there will be more long-time contracts.
Also, KHL clubs usually try to sign four to five year deals with their young prospects.
Well they have no consequences financially so they don't really matter. As individual KHL team budgets changes from year to year, and they need to be looked at every summer, you can't really commit even to your best players for too long of spells (not that I am fond of 6+ year contracts).
