3-3.5 for either. I'd like to see Bickell as a leaf bug not sure he can keep up this level of production.

He had close to 30 points this yr. maybe he's a late bloomer.

I agree, so why not get production, both Stalberg and Horton produce more.

I want no part of Bickell. He is producing really well these playoffs, but he has also taken more than his fair share of boneheaded penalties. And I'm sure that he'd be getting called for more penalties if this were the regular season.

I could see Detroit giving Bickell 3 years at $9.0m and maybe Stalberg 3 years at $3.75m Bickell would be sick playing with either Dats or Zets and Stalberg would be solid on the 3rd line.

He had under 0,5 PPG this regular season. 36p in 65 games if you combine reg season and play off. Sure, he may be a latebloomer but every descent player can have a 20 games pointstreak.

But around 3M seems right, to me.

Hawks would match that 3 years 3 per year offer for Bickell and I'm sure he would rather stay with the Hawks

I think the Predators will have interest in both, but I realistically could see them signing Stalberg. Fills a few needs and seems to be a good system fit.

What did Pisani get after his miracle playoff run?

I'm thinking the two are pretty similar, and Bickell will also fall back to earth next year.

The thing with Bickell is that he always peforms in the playoffs, every single year.

In what way is Bickell similar to Pisani?

Pisani wasn't a physical/net presence and wasn't a 6'4 230lb monster.

Comparing Bickell to Pisani or Joel Ward is stupid, neither of those guys have what Bickell does.

Pisani that is a ridiculous comparison. Bickell is worth 3m and if the Hawks pay a penny more Im fine with walking away from Bickell.. Jimmy Hayes doesnīt have that wrister shot, but he will have to fill in....

Chicago does need to retain Bickell or Stalberg, but if they dont and they clean out Frolik / Bolland then they can fill needs through free agency.

I think Chicago can play along in the free agency sweepstakes, and nab one or two if we donīt sign our own free adents.

Iīm not saying Hayes / Morin can do what Bickell / Stalberg do because that wouldnīt be fair expectations for rookies.... I donīt know that we have a defensive responsible 3rd line next year like we did this year that also can score... I will say this that next years 3rd line will be a top 7or8 scoring 3rd line in the NHL.

I'm fine with both players leaving and Bickell with anything more than 3.0 million is not worth it for the Hawks. Core is here to stay, depth to replace by the prospect pool. Bickell is not a core guy.

I still wouldn't mind trading away Bolland and keeping Bickell with that contract the Caps gave Ward

Always? His first post season he had 1p in 4 gp and last year he had 2p in 6gp. Before this year he had under 0,5 PPG in the play offs. And this year gp make up for more then 50 % of his total play off games. He has been good this year but don't make it sound like he play as well every year.

He didn't play a lot his first year (the Cup year), his first NHL games, but he was a ****ing force physically. Since then, goals have always been there for BB in the playoffs.

2 minors vs. LAK...1 was stupid.

Whoever signs Stalberg for over 3 million per year will regret it.

He's playing less then 11 minutes per game these playoffs, was benched for a few games, doesn't kill penalties, isn't physical, doesn't fight.

The best thing about Stalberg is his speed and how cheap his contract is.

Stalberg is currently in his prime and has had some inflated stats from linemates.

Wasn't Clowe looking for near 6 million a year? I would rather have Bickell then Clowe. Much better shooter and stays healthier. Bickell will get severely over-paid this offseason if he leaves. I bet he gets 4.5 million from somebody who misses out on Clowe or wants one of the 2. Either way they will both be overpaid. I think Bickell is more valuable on a good team like Chicago where they do not have a lot of toughness in their lineup and he can play on any line and be productive at any role. If he plays on a poor team and is suppose to score I dont see it...
