So, he's a 3rd/4th liner.

I'd like to see a list of players like Rinaldo who peaked at .92 ppg at age 15 who have gone on to consistently play in the top 6 in the NHL. It's likely either very short, or non-existent.

If you mean AHL or ECHL, then sure, that's possible.

Rinaldo couldn't even be top 6 in the AHL!

The points he got in junior is irelivent. The type of player he is, is the reason he will see top 6 in my opinion, I respect ur opinion but I beg to differ.

For reference, at age 15 Schenn was putting up 70 points in 41 games. Couturier did 56 in 40.

Rinaldo? 24 in 26. And that number has absolutely plummeted as he advanced to high levels. What reason is there to believe that this 4th liner who has produced less and less as he moves higher will suddenly turn into a top liner? It just doesn't happen. Sorry to burst your bubble, but I wouldn't get my hopes up if I were you. It's more likely that Tebow will take over for Tom Brady.

Ok now that's the silliest thing I've ever heard. If you followed the Phantoms during the lockout u would have realized he was on the 2nd line!

I'm not comparing him to anyone. He's no top prospect (Schenn, Couturier) he's a player who was lucky to be drafted, and has to prove himself. I watch the majority of Flyers games this year and I like what I see.

That's because Rick owns the Phantoms and forced the coach to put him on the 2nd line. Rick doesnt have the same type of control over the Flyers coaches and therefore Rinaldo will not be on the 2nd line anytime soon!

I watched them too. I saw a career bottom-6 guy.

Just because someone is really good at hitting in a 4th line role, doesn't mean they'll magically start generating offense.

I'm not sure.

I guess we should start waiting for Shelley's great breakout, too.

I'd rather wait for Rose to return or for Iverson to go to practise!

I expect more of posters of the year.

I used to be anti-Rinaldo, as he struck me (so to speak) as a suspension on skates. His play of this mini-season was one of the more pleasant surprises, as he showed sustained ability to keep his composure and to throw hard hits without big charges or flying elbows. Rinaldo definitely epitomizes the 4th line energy guy, and I look forward (still a bit hesitantly) seeing him do this next season.

Rinaldo is what he is currently, nothing more. On that note he was amazing at his role this season, and if he continues of that trend he'll be around in this league for awhile.

exactly. I was never his biggest fan by any means but he is really good in his role on the 4th line. smashes everything in sight, draws penalties and just pisses everyone off on the other team. he brings next to nothing offensively but thats fine. thats not his job.

I love Zac, he's an inspiration and one of the best players on the team.

He's the first jersey I will buy...if I can get one for cheap.
