after starting this i hate Randy Robitaille thread, lol, i must agree with some thoughts about how he is better than some other players in the system, ie. Dimitrakos. Give me Ben Eager once he's ready, and give Robitaille 20 games to see what he can do (i'll give him a chance).

I'm anxious to see what the line combinations will look like 15 games into the season.

I really liked the Calder-Richards-Sanderson line. Fast, and exactly what Richards needs in my opinion to be successful. 2 guys on his wings that can burry the puck.

how about these line combos...?
Gagne-Forsberg-Carter
Calder-Richards-Sanderson
Umberger-Robitaille-Knuble
Kapanen-Nedved-Eager

Maybe this would possibly spread the offense out a bit more. I did some homework on Robitaille and did notice he's an effective faceoff man, so i say play him at centre or don't play him at all. I know Carter had his shot before in this role, but i say give it a try again and if it doesn't work, put Knuble back in his place. This would give the top 3 lines someone up the middle to distribute the puck, and people on the wings to burry it in the net. This team needs Eager so bad though, they forwards seem to lack grit on the forecheck.

Dimitrakos penaltied his way out of the lineup tonight... not sure who goes to that wing, but i would be shocked to see Dime there next game.

He only took one penalty. That was arguably the best line we had on the ice. Umberger had the goal, Carter was everywhere probably his best game, although Knuble was on the ice when they score. Dimitrakos didn't do much of anything, but it's not like he made a game-changing mistake.

Well he got benched for the rest of the game, I can't remember the last time Fatty benched a player for anything, nevermind for taking "only one penalty". It was one of the dumbest penalties I've ever seen.
