If Jets want to do Burmi for Boyle + 3rd, sure.
Burmi: 0.30 PPG career, 43% FO.
Boyle: 0.27 PPG career, 50% FO.

I'm just trying to find a way to get Byfuglien on the Rangers. He's a must-get, as far as I'm concerned. Burmistrov would be a nice addition

Rangers don't need a 300lbs offensive lineman playing Defense on skates.

But they do need a PP QB with a heavy shot and offensive creativity, who can play on the right side

You missed the part where he is 300 lbs or are you just obstinate?

The bone of contention isn't his weight...it's the statement that I made:

"But they do need a PP QB with a heavy shot and offensive creativity, who can play on the right side"

That's Byfuglien to a T. Your reply to that is he's 300 pounds

Which means he won't be qbing anything pretty soon. His knees can't support the weight for long. Plus ballooning up to 300 lbs in season, shows his lack of commitment and discipline.
The weight is relevant but you are blind to it.
And even if he is slimmer, i would not give up the package you have, that's just a ridiculous overpayment.

So you are wrong across the board.

If Kawyray doesn't want Buff fine lol, seems to lack critical thinking skills.

Us in Winnipeg still aren't sure what amount of truth there is to these weight rumours. If they are to be believed, the only things that make sense are
A) eating disorder
B) medical disorder

If he was actually 300 lbs last year though he still looked better than 80% of NHL blue liners which is a feat in itself.

Could I get a link to an article that states that he's 300 lbs.

The article must be the following:

1) Not speculation
2) Not based of an amateur blog

No from NYR, serious overpayment, even if Buff was in prime form and the weight thing is just a rumor, it's still a no from the Rangers.

Boyle has no value. LOL cherry picking stats to make him look like his value is anywhere close to Burmistrov. That's awful.

We have lots of picks in the first 2 rounds already so no need for a 3rd.

Del Zotto is interesting, but a downgrade from Buff.

Funny how much people make fun of Buff and call him fat, etc while they make proposals for him.

I'd rather just stick to MDZ for Burmistrov, with minor pluses on both sides.

Byfuglien for the rest is just something I wouldn't do.

The problem Jets fans have is it's all started by the same writer, Gary Lawless. The dude just spews Jets crap. Burmistrov apparently has demanded a trade, Byfuglien is fat, Kane demanded a trade (yet somehow afterwards signed a 6-year deal), Bogosian won't sign (yet signed a week later). The guy is an absolute hack. As fans we just get so effing tired of people on these boards making hack-job trade requests for our top players by offering nothing.

Look at all the crappy Bogosian offers from 2 years ago, or all the crappy Kane offers last year. It just gets tiresome.
