Montreal Alouettes 2013 season discussion thread

Should start a new thread as tonight is the first pre-season game for the Als.

New coaches, new philosophy and many great expectations.

And they score on their first possession, 7-0 against the Ti-Cats, off to a good start.

Can this be made a sticky?

Go Als Go, Grey Cup bound.

Pretty awful first half. Calvillo had a great drive and its downhill after he left. All out blitz constantly getting beat with the dump off. And Niseweiller has been pretty brutal, run blocking too. Just pre-season tho.

Porter will start the 2nd half, but we better hope AC stays healthy all season. But like you say, it's pre-season and a new system. Too early to judge honestly.

White is crap, guy has no leg. Duval was much better ... yeah i know this is sad. Cant believe they wasted a first round pick to trade for this guy.

CFL is hard to watch at times with the damn 3 downs. And when you throw second and third stringers with new schemes. DAMN! No momentum and slow as ....

Porter making a case for himself, shows good poise and has plenty of speed. Making the score more respectable even if it doesn't count for anything.

Nice to know Cris Carter's son is trying to win a spot with the Als. Huge body for a receiver

I don't remember the last time I watched a game from the CFL. We need an NFL franchise in Montreal, woohoo!

Not to be off-topic, but since this is a football thread for Montreal football fans, I thought I would ask here

Which NFL team is your favorite and why ?

Just saw your posts, thank you McSorley. What's wrong man? Did I say anything wrong about the CFL? You need to take a chill pill or ignore us (me).

His avatar is pretty ironic since he's clearly not acting like an Angel here
