Well when you put it that way how could anyone refuse? lol jk.. I figured that, with no 1st round pick, there wouldn't be that large of a Ranger turnout

No; but they have three 3rd round picks.

Dont worry, it's the Rangers. Sather will do something stupid to trade up in the draft.

I actually love the 3pm start because now I can hit the bar for a nice lunch and some drinks, sit for 2 or 3 rounds, and then probably head home around 7-8pm (I guess).. Plus they are doing a Fan Fest

What kind of FanFest compared to the 'normal' ones for Devil games? It would be nice to get some indicator of what they're going to do around and in the arena before/during the draft.

So for the STH ticket holders who do not attend the draft, will their tickets be sent back into the ticket lottery? I wish I could attend this being a Avs fan, anyone think that people will be reselling them online soon?

I'm sure you'll see them for sale all over the place as soon as the team puts them in the season ticket holders' online accounts (which will likely happen early next week).

I think there's going to be a lot more tickets available than people think.

For those who may have missed the email:

Colin,

Thank you for requesting your 2013 NHL Draft Tickets. We canít wait to host you at The Rock!

You can now log into your My Devils Account to print your General Admission Draft Tickets for free. There has been a tremendous response from our passionate fans requesting tickets, however we are happy to report for all those accounts that asked for additional tickets, we were able to provide each of you with two additional General Admission tickets. If you requested additional tickets, the two additional tickets will also appear on your My Devils Account, and may be printed for free once you log-in.

A 2013 NHL Draft ďFan FestĒ presented by: New Jersey Stronger than the Storm, will be begin at 10:30AM on Championship Plaza. The Fan Fest will feature carnival rides, games, entertainment, food, drinks, as well as dual rinks on Mulberry Street hosting a street hockey tournament. While the general public will be able to enter Prudential Center at approximately 1:00pm, doors will be opened exclusively for Season Ticket Holders and their guests at approximately 12:30pm. To gain access to the top General Admission seats before anyone else, please meet us at an exclusive Season Ticket Holder entrance on Lafayette Street, just next to the VIP Garage, by 12:30pm. The actual Draft is set to begin at 3:00pm, however the main concourse will be filled with a number of activities including the opportunity to take photos with a variety of NHL trophies, and a trading card show.

We have also printed commemorative Draft Tickets, one for each Season Ticket Holder attending the Draft, that you may pick up at the top of the escalators outside of section 126 up through 6pm.

For the best parking options available, please visit www.clickandpark.com.

We canít wait to see you next Sunday as we host another marquee event at Prudential Center!

Thanks,
Your Fan Experience Team

Just took a look on Stubhub to see if people were listing theirs yet and it says that there will be no tickets offered for this because it is a free event and has a link to the Devils site to enter for tickets.

The Devils have a relationship with Stubhub. I remember last year they got Stubhub to pull the tickets of anyone who bought Diablos tickets during the playoffs and tried to resell them.

Anybody remember that little blurb on their website when renewing your ST's in the spring, about renewing with your AmEx card? Something like special access for the draft? Meet and great with the alumni, etc.?

I don't see any mention of it now.

I got an email inviting me to a skate on the practice rink from 11-1 for using Amex on draft day. The only other thing I remember is early entrance which everybody has as a season ticket holder.

Yeah, I guess that's it. I didn't read that email closely enough. I remember it sounding like a bigger deal back at renewal time.

Do the Devils offer any partial season ticket deals or is it just full? Was curious as I'd like to possibility jump aboard but think full season might be out of my price range.

Devils do offer partial seasons as well as 12 game and "flex" plans (you choose the games) but the savings is in the full seasons. You'd be paying less for the same seat for a full season then you would with a half.

I figured the best bang for your buck would be a full season package, but I am not sure I can swing it. Figured at least with a partial might get some of the benefits still (Yanks did that with their partials). Assume have to talk to a rep to get all the details as I don't see anything on the website.
