Homer's desperate attempts to make up for the miserable drafting in recent years leading to an obvious lack of quality goaltending prospects in the organization, I guess.

Starkbaum is just a subject of speculation while Chubak has already been signed...

Chubak is on an AHL deal. Can he even be sent to the ECHL?

Is there anyone up about how possibly could look Adirondack forward lines and defense next season? I have some scenarios in my mind but I would like to hear it from someone who support or watch Phantoms more than me. Already with new players Lamarche and Raffl. It'd be kinda good if Adirondack could stop being the worst team in AHL.

On phone but posted mine a page back and other people did also. I get to usually see half the phantoms games. My lines are gardened to beinf realistic than hopeful. Decent ahl team. Not a fan of murray though.

Colin Sullentrop goes back into the draft. Must've been another one of "Mark Grieg's picks"

Team USA announced it's Evaluation Camp Roster today for the 2014 WJC's. The goalies are TBD but Stolarz should be a lock for an invite since he was there last year and has a really good chance of making the roster this year.

Two local kids made the list too, F Jimmy Lodge (Downingtown, PA) and D Anthony DeAngelo (Sewell, NJ)

Huh Sewell, NJ eh. From where i live. Not that big of a town either. Ill be pulling for him then.

Hopefully the Flyers pick him up also .

Smaller defender who puts up points it seems.

Yup, he really turned his game around last year in Sarina. He's a 2014 draft eligible kid, most figure him to be a potential top 15 pick as of now.

It's good to start seeing more and more kids from the Philly area start to make the ranks. Snider's efforts with revitalizing rinks in this area along with the Team Comcast program should start making more dividends in the future.

Goaltenders will be evaluated in their own camp in Ann Arbor, MI from June 9-11 before identifying which will participate at Lake Placid.

They didn't release the names for it yet but again Stolarz should be there.

Would be kind of cool if we picked jimmy lodge. Could probably be had at 41. Not sure if he'd be worth that pick or not though considering the strength of the draft.

It's about where he's slotted to go, early second rounder. It would be cool and he's good prospect but there's other players I'm higher on that should be on the board still at 41. In the end I wouldn't complain though.

------------

The next kid in line to possibly get drafted is defensemen Troy Henley from Philadelphia. He's a 2015 draft eligible, he'll be playing for the Ottawa 67's next year in the OHL. He played for Team Comcast prior to playing in Canada this year, he's considered one of the top US born 97's (which a lot of people think might be the deepest birth year for the US in a while).

Isn't '15 jack eichels draft year as well? Man I would love eichel in a flyers jersey. Kid looks like he's going to be a beast.

Yup, but he's a 96, a late birthday. The 2015 draft is looking to be a really good one for the US as of now.

Stolarz is one of the four goalies that was invited to the US National Junior Evaluation Camp.

Any of you want to get a beer in the Sewell/Deptford/Pitman/Glassboro area let me know. My area too. I do not watch the games with anyone but my wife (also a big fan)-- gives me an excuse to go to the bar to watch the game.

Nope we're not at the contract level right now. We only have two goalies under contract for next year in Mason and Heeter (assuming Bryz gets bought-out). So it's definitely a possibility, the depth chart is in our favor as of now.

I don't feel like counting it out but you should get a good sense of how many spots we have with this.
