I know this is your MO, but are you really trying to argue Leighton isn't an atrocious goalie who once had a good playoffs?

Anything to try to discredit Price. Why I don't "see" his posts anymore.

The question was raised was Leighton really that bad in those playoffs...

and this guy replied directly to that question that he was one of the worst goalies he's every seen .

So, what's really up here. Somebody asked a question about that playoff year, someone else replies with a wrong answer, I correct that wrong answer and since nobody took the time to read the thread I am a Leighton loving Price hating guy who apparently has an MO.

Leighton was a journeyman I said that, but he was great during much of that playoff run. Didn't reach that pinnacle before, hasn't repeated since. But if you say he was one of the worst goalies ever in 2010 well you don't know what you're talking about.

So, who has the MO here?

As if voting for him instead of Plekanec wasn't crazy enough... Prust's vote was for 3rd place, so some writer decided he was better defensively than at least one of Datsyuk, Toews or Bergeron. Crazy.

So it's out that Huberdeau has the Calder - 31 points -15 17 TOI/G and 33% FO on a horrible team. He also had a couple games where he had 4 points I believe which brought the stats up.

He was basically just another player on a crap team and didn't make any difference in the outcome.

Gallagher was everything for this club, heart and soul, 15 goals +10 and worked his way up the line up on a 2nd place team. Yeah, Huberdeau should win the Calder /joke

The people who vote on these awards are idiots.

Huberdeau for calder?
Karlsson for Norris last year?
Not one Selke vote for Plekanec?

Do they even Hockey?

Plekanec did have one of his worst seasons PK-wise, though I blame the coaching for that. Voting Prust over Plekanec is pretty crazy though, especially as they often played together and even in a below-his-standards PK season, Plek was still the anchor there.

Huberdeau tied for first in scoring among rookies on a terrible team.

I do say he's worthy of it.

Any award that didn't go to a Hab is a travesty to the game and the voters should be shot.

Being pretty good as a rookie on a 2nd place team is clearly a better indicator of individual skill and talent than leading on a last place team.

Add T.J. Brennan with David Savard on the list of d-men I surely overrated. Loved Brennan in his junior years and like Savard, thought both guys would have already made the NHL. Not that it's over for both....but even if they do, it's later than I thought they would. Still believe in them though...come on boys...show them.

Me too. Very impressed with Brennan every time I went to Verdun, I thought he was a sure thing to make it.

A couple nice shoot out goals and 31 points with 17 mins a game on a last place team doesnt impress me, sorry. I would rather Brodin win than Huberdeau this year. I like Huberdeau and think he's going to be a star, but he wasn't Calder good this year compared to others.

Honestly, I thought Brennan was a SUREFIRE top 4 in the NHL. No doubt in my mind at the time.

Haha that's the exact same thing he said when he took out Pacioretty.

Not only a cheap shot, but a clear intent to re-injure Crosby's jaw. Doesn't get much worse.

This is not a hockey play, it is a premeditated intent to send a colleague to hospital.

Awards:
Is anyone really surprised at this point?

"I didn't do anything wrong."
"My finger got stuck in my glove."
"I was just protecting myself."

Typical Bruins mentality.
